Can we submit our passport's in consulate general also or we have to go to the embassy. We have a consulate in dubai but tge embassy is in Abu Dhabi .

I think you have to submit only via VFS.

They will tell you where to send your passport in the ppr letter ... If you want to send to another office first you have to contact them through the email address they provide in the ppr letter and make arrangements to send to an office other than the one indicated in the letter .... and I think it has to be a visa office.

Guys so many have received ghost emails and no ppr. I guess today is over too but next week should be a storm not a rain because of so many ghost mails in the past 10 days! I really don't know why it's been so dry!!! :'(

Same situation here. Got a Ghost mail stating that the application is updated. No changes when i logged into my application. Its now a matter of time, hope everything goes well.

I am a CEC applicant.

You will get PPR in the next couple of days. Same thing happened to me and I got PPR the following day. Good luck - exciting times!

Any inputs on whether CIC rejected or asked for additional docs after the following symptoms:
a) UPDATED to SUBMITTED - myCIC
b) Ghost e-mail the next day

I don't know my friend what is happening. Inland applicants have not received ppr in last 10 days. Lets see what the next week brings for us. By the way Happy Persian new year to u in advance.

the pattern is not the same anymore. I received the same on 10th (update and ghost email), couple others received on 9th and no update after that

That means somebody is working on your file.. Many of us have same scenario.. So, dont worry.. PPR is around the corner!
