For those who are waiting more than 10 months, I suggest you to tweet to John McCallum @HonJowhMcCallum exposing your case.

there is no rain anymore for March anymore. it's just going to be sporadic passing showers if any.

Guys

I need an urgent reply, if you can help!!!

I have received a COPR. But before flying my spouse has injured her hand and has had to undergo an operation.

Do we have to inform CIC about the operation, before Landing at Canada Border.

I am a PNP outland.

An urgent reply would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

I was never told that but I know many people on this forum with different AOR dates that were told February 2017 and then received in the next day or soon after. Personally, I think May 2017 is bullocks, absolutely ridiculous. It's like they threw a dart on a calendar with eyes closed and decided to tell the date it landed on, go figure lol
I was told February 2017 but didn't receive it in the following days. One agent told me that if I don't get it by then, I can call and they can actually open my file and find out what's taking so long. So my guess is that this February or May thing is not actually a throw of the dart, but is rather related to a note or something found in our own files.

I actually have a question to you mubzali, as you are the statistics expert here. How's the situation in the February FSW outlanders processed in Ottawa? They are only a little short of 9 months.

There should not be any reason to inform IRCC about this unless its something affecting your landing time.
Is there any specific concern you have? Also, make sure you carry all the reports & medical notes from this operation.

interesting question. the samples size for FSWO February AOR's processed in Ottawa is too small to be able to form any opinion. However, from the spreadsheet I was able to identify 4 FSWO Feb applicant's that received PPR's who's VO was either Ottawa or they didn't know (which mostly ends up being Ottawa). Here are their processing times from the eAOR:

Ruby13 260 days
JWZR421 247 days
nz 255 days
RKCK 270 days

i'm at 219 days. you're at about 238 days. now, assuming the March sheet is up to date, there are 8 of us in the FSWO category, who's BG check's are in progress. Not sure about their visa offices though honestly.

Applicant BG In Progress Days since AOR
Lahoria 79 days 240 days
elmas 69 days 238 days
sttaq 92 days 237 days
Tony1146 91 days 235 days
jaymax 90 days 233 days
ssummer81 82 days 228 days
mubzali 71 days 219 days
Susheem 65 days 217 days

Thanks for the reply.

So the 4 people you listed above got their applications approved in 247 to 270 days, which is definitely within the 9 months you had mentioned earlier and this would lead me to think we have about a month left.

One more thing - my bg went ip twice. I'm not sure if that is the case with all eight of us.

Are there any other FSW outlanders in the February group who are still waiting? I'm talking about those whose files are being processed in Ottowa of course.

+1 for good analysis. My visa office is in fact Ottawa.

Hello,folks!

I'm FSW Outlander with Ottawa VO still waiting.

Bg in progress since 20th of July.

Called CIC a couple of weeks ago. A guy told me that my sevurity check is still going on and it is already completed for my wife. He very politely told me that he has to prepare me for the worst scenario. In case I have no email from CIC by the 10th of March 2017 then I can call them and they will have the power to influence CIC somehow. Until then no use bothering the call center.

That is it.

My VO is Ottawa as well.

The Jan/Feb spreadsheet is not quite reliable. For example, RKCK received PPR on the 29th of July as seen in this message http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/aor-in-february-2016-ee-connect-here-t396295.0.html;msg5354218#msg5354218
similarly, Ruby13 got it on the 2nd of June as seen here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t396295.0.html;msg5232603#msg5232603

Also, jaymax got PPR on the 17th of October. Hope we are next...

Anyway, I ordered GCMS notes about 40 day ago and have not received them. What is the best way to get an update on that?
