I got a request for additional documents to be provided after BGC in progress today.
They asked for Notice of Assessment, T4, employment letter of reference updated and proof of funds.
I got a new home with my savings and RRSP. Can I show them as proof of funds for settlement in Canada.

Hi All,

I have been following this forum/thread for some time and is very useful. This is my first post.

My BG went to In Process on 08/06 second time. Below is my time line.

Category: FSW Inland
AOR: March 12th
Medical Passed: March 26th
Ordered GCMS notes: July 13th and waiting for the results
BG in process 2nd time: August 6th
Visa Office: Not sure at this time, need to wait till my GCMS notes

Hi there,

I got the request for proof of funds on the same day that my BG changed to "in Progress", which was the 14th of July. My VO is Hong Kong and I was given a month to provide the requested docs (this is my 2nd request for additional doc). There was no update at all since then, so I am not sure what and when to expect.

With respect to the docs for POF, I provided my parents' bank statements and the remittance documents as they asked for the source of my funds. Hope this helps.

Alhamdulillah (By the Grace of Almighty ALLAH). Today I received passport from Aramex courier with visa stamped along with the COPR letter .
