Eligibility was not met. The reason is Work Experience NOC code being inconsistent. Same thing is mentioned in the Refusal letter also.

Hi there,
Can you please share your timeline? Did your background check go in progress and then "not needed at this time"?

You are almost there. VISA officer at cpc Ottawa have found nothing alarming on your file and recommended your eligibility met. Now, visa officer at local VO have to update the status to pass if he feel he is satisfied with ur file.

Thanks for that info.

He put five status updates for eligibility on 7th June the date he last updated notes, First is Calculate then calculation in progress then
Eligibility status is Review required but just after this status on same date he put EE Econ status - not started and then Eligibility status - Not started.

And in assessments in starting it is - Not started.

Hey appears to be cec inland applicant. So do you think the file will still be transferred to the local visa office in home country?

Do not worry. As we all know our file will be checked by two officers one in CPC otawwa & other in Local VO, The information provide on your application may seems satisfying to one of the officer and at the same time the other may not be convinced so during this process you could see status fluctuating between Not Started & Review Required until both of the officers comes to a conclusion. Order another GCMS after a month if you do not have any update from them.

APPLICATION
APPLICATION: 1
Field Name: Eligibility
Action: Updated
Old Value: Not Started
New Value: Recommend Passed
Updated Date: 2016/05/05 Updated By: XXXXX
Office: CPC-Ottawa

Does this indicate that my Eligibility has passed or i still have to wait?

My take on this is that most of the time this evaluation is done by case analyst. Now Visa officer will take final decision on this, Visa officer's evaluation includes Security, Eligibility, Medicals, Criminality. When he has input from all departments, he ll take his decision and file can be ready for visa or refusal or interview or document required.

In your case eligibility is kind of passed, but still visa officer will have a look on it.

cannot say for sure it will be transferred to local VO in this case but as we all know our file will not be checked and finalized by one officer at any time, which i believe based on what i see on GCMS notes where in the notes section its is clear that fields like '' Created by: '' & "updated by:'' by two different officers always. So in CEC case it could be the officers from the same VO who might be dealing the case.

I think there is no need to order the GCMS as your AOR was 9 Feb, it is nearly 5 months and you are most likely to receive PPR in a couple of weeks. Whereas GCMS will take 45 days to complete. By that time, you may have receive your PPR already.

Thanks buddy.
Hope it comes true soon...Finger crossed..Waiting

Wish you also good luck...

Has anyone been contacted by CIC for information about the existing visas on your passport or you have to define them in travel history document?
Question like, how you got those visas? For what purpose you went to visit that particular country?

@IMGNSPNP

The reason of this question is, I went to a country on work permit but didn't continue job and went to another country without taking any documents.
And, I have not mentioned that work records in Employment section. What do you think I should do in this case?

If you haven't claimed experience & points towards that job you are fine. However, you have to mention that visit and stay in that country in your background declaration form.

Thank you @IMGNSPNP for clearing my doubt.

If anyone else has any other suggestion then please let me know. I don't want to fu#k up anything when I know authorities are finding lame excuses to reject application these days.

After all, some movement in my MyCIC account.
My background check now 'in progress'.
Plz pray 4 me so that this difficult time ends soon.
