Yha but its almost 2 months now for that ghost email... I can see that on my gcms notes to that office open my application on 14 and i order gcms notes in 15 oct so after that nothing ,a complete silence

Ya CIC has been completely silent since quite sometime now, i am expecting some movement by Jan 2016 now, btw how many days it tool for you to get the gcms notes..

A complete month .... You will get it in first week of jan..

What i heard from some other forum, we get these ghost mails when some officer checks or opens our application.
Not sure about the authenticity of this though

in my case., I never got any ghost e mails., only before I even got my ITA. I know for a fact (GCMS) that they did review my application, but no ghost e mails were sent., so this theory, is just like everything else: a theory.

When I think about it rationaly, I've accomplished a lot; still here, still able to function in my daily life and still alive even after 4 + months since AOR.. Now if I can only be as optimistic about the future months, that would be great :-X

Exactly my take. Rooting all the way for july aors to get their ppr this month as their BG checks have been on progress for over a month now.

Due to bad exchange rate i fear that my proof of funds may be insufficient if they do the conversion now. Anyone sent and updated bank statement via a CSE after submitting their PR application. Was it accepted?

If your bank had mentioned the exchange rate on the date of the letter , it would be sufficient . Otherwise you can try your chances with a cse explaining the issues and added proof of funds .

Canadian Dollar has gone down now in value. Shouldn't you be benefited with that? If your country currency value has gone down a lot then it is a different case.

I requested my gcms notes on 12th nov and my background check went in progress on nov 17th.

Do you have any idea if the gcms notes would have any info about my bg check.

I applied my gcms notes on 15 oct and they generated my gcms notes on 21st but i only got information till 14 oct so i i think in ur case you will get your information till 12th....good luck
