Add Doc required: 01 Sep - RPRF (They said they have sent and earlier request on 2nd Aug, which I didnt get)

Can anyone suggest how much time it will take more? Also can anyone share Ottawa VO no? the general call centre no is not valid when you dial from India. Please help

Generally, BG in progress for the second time is a sign of PPR to be received soon. There are some exceptions, as per my observation on this forum, some of them have received PPR even without the BG in progress for the second time.

Hope we get our BG in progress for the second time by next week. ;D

Is it necessary that whosoever gets PPR should get BGIP??..in my case the BG has not gone into progress even once. Has there been cases in which the applicant directly gets PPR without BGIP??..

Yes. I mentioned in my post about the exception, that some have got PPR directly without second time BGIP.

many times these status messages don't reflect the actual scene. My eligibility is still "in progress" when actually it has been passed long back . my BG has been In progress since the start. Unless you have ordered the notes , don't get disheartened by this status message.
It is better for you to apply for BOWP , you have less than a month left. In case your PR decision takes a little longer than expected you may be in trouble. But if you apply for your BOWP , even if you don't hear back from them you can stay here on an implied status. My BOWP took about 4 months.

That was encouraging. I was getting nervous after some of the replies. I had applied for GCMS notes on Aug 9th, waiting for them to see what's going on.

Congratulations on getting a RPRF request.I share the same AOR as you...8th April...but am still waiting for a RPRF request

So did they send you a RPRF request for the second time? Are you a FSW Outland applicant?

Thanks, yes they mentioned sending it on 2nd Aug.. but I think they sent it on offline mail service which I didnt get in India.
