My work permit is gonna expire on September 12, 2016.
I need to extend my work permit, And right now I don't have any letter for extension.
Kindly guide me with BOWP.

here is the thing i would love to enter canada after COPR, but if the PPR is pushed towards the end of september, it will get late for me to apply for aTRV to travel outside canada. I dont have a LMIA, i am a CEC candidate. Lets see what happens.

now I understand your situation....from what I understand, you are already in the process of renewing the PGWP to get the rest of the 18 months...as per what you said earlier, it should reach you within a months time...if that happens and the COPR does not come...you are good to travel and re enter Canada using your current WP...regarding your concern regarding original PGWP issued...do you atleast have a soft copy? if you do, I think you should be fine...you seem to have gathered all the respective documents after the PGWP being lost(RCMP, etc)...

Even if PPR is delayed, once you get COPR and you have landed...you can apply for PR Travel document...to travel until the time your PR card comes...it reaches you in less than a week and costs 50$ USD...this is an additional option...

Like you are saying" lets see what happens"....you are right...do as the situation demands...relax for now...everything will be fine...

Thank you lazybone, i did apply for the extension for PGWP, and that application was submitted almost a month back. getting these work permits takes months too, i want to go the border and ask for the remaining PGWP, i dont want to go the border when my legal status has expired.i do have soft copies for all documnets. my only concern is; whether they would let me in if i have no WP with me, or help me out at ther border. i have friends that have waited for months to get their PGWP, but went to the border got everything, but they had their legal status intact when they went to the border with all original documents.

SINP application sent: Dec 3rd
SINP nomination: March 23rd
ITA: April 6th
AOR: April 13th
Missing documents (sched 4 and sched a) provided after request: April 18th
RPRF: June 3rd
PPR: July 18th
CoPR ready and application closed: August 5th
