Hi everyone,
I applied for my spouse’s PR under the spousal category. AOR is 24 August 2024. Eligibility and medicals are already completed, but my spouse has not received a Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL) yet.
Interestingly, when I applied for my own PR earlier, I had added my spouse as a non-accompanying family member, and biometrics (photo & fingerprints but its from RCMP i dont think its same as BIL) were done at that time. I also attached those biometrics when applying for her PR.
Any insights would be appreciated!

She would have done biometrics during your PR application.

I applied for PR through as provincial nominee. I received my AOR at the end of November 2025. It has been about 4 months now, but I still haven't received the biometrics instruction letter (BIL).

On the PR tracker, the biometrics section still shows “In progress”.

I noticed that many applicants who applied around the same time received their biometrics request either together with the AOR or shortly after.

Is this delay normal? Has anyone experienced a similar situation? How can I do?

Thank you!
