Anyone waiting for PPR since medical?

Applicant 2007, Medicals done in April 2010.

Recently recvd a mail from CHC on my query that they do not anticipate requesting my passport for visa issueance until dec 2010/jan 2011.

I did medicals in July 14th, also Detroit Office. I'm still waiting for PPR but I haven't contact them, it is just 6 weeks after medicals. Do you know if there is any official period to contact them after medicals send? I read in another forum for NY office applicants that at NY Office they have like periods after you can inquire about your case but Detroit is not updated.

In my medicals it said to complete medical within 30 days. But it didn't mention any waiting periods after medicals.

Thanks for any help or update !!!!

They did mention in my case and that was 3 months, its been already over one month.

I have inquired about it from my sources, and the explanation I have been given is that CHC has finished with their Quota for this year under the new scheme, for the applicants of 2007. If you observe that many 2007 applicants have notr recvd PPR after their medicals, since April. I have seen one case on trackitt since Nov 2009 waiting for PPR. God knows how these people work what are their standards fo requesting for PPT. In delhi office now Year 2008 applicants are getting their PPR and visas. I know three other guys who recvd similar replies like me. Its fingers crossed F*&^%$G wait until we get something.

First of all congratulations for your PPR.
My medicals have been sent to my Vienna visa office on the 28th June and still no answer since then.:-( Do you think I could e-mail them or they do not like this?
If I decide to e-mail them should I use the case specific enquiry on their website?

As per June 2010 rulings...must be quota issue

I'm from Hungary. I wonder if my background check takes that much time as I lived 1 year in the UK before and in this case they go a bit deeper into your check.
I have e-mailed them on Friday and now waiting for their reply...

Our medicals and RPRF were received by CIC London on 5th July 2010. Waiting for PPR.

Which office do you have to send your passports to ? Do keep us updated when you received your passports back.

How do you confirm that Ottawa has received the medical results? Do they send a letter?
the DMP may have taken his sweet time sending in the results.

As per CIC Process, DMP cannot keep the Medicals with him/er for more than a week. CIC must recv the medicals withing 5 Dyas of the Medicals.

You can always send an email, requesting the confirmation of your medical recpt.
