Yes, yesterday ie. 4/30 I received instructions to send documents to Buffalo . So that a good news.

Where from are you applying - we can help each other out further in process....

I've just applied from US like u. i've sent the file to Sydney and they've recieved it just yesterday.

Question for u:
Can you provide ur timelines again?
What you mean by you recieved an instruction to send docs to buffalo? You mean u recived AOR?
They mention to send docs in AOR itself? What docs needs to send? (i.e experience, academic, PCC, ielts..??)

Thanks for the concern, but i wouldn't request PCC from US consulate as it takes very long..
rather I would get it from India, I am almost in a process of it to get it from India.

There is one most lucky applicant who has received aor+medicals+ppr together from newdelhi. Applied in march 2009.

How are you geeting pcc from india?
I am facing a lot of challenge in mumbai...

Help me..
this chicago consulate guys are slower than snail....

I had to send authorization letter, my passport copy, and proof of living in US(which i sent one of my pay stubs). I think it should be ok for my dad to get pcc for me.

Send Application from United States : 16th April, 2009
Reached Canada : 23rd April, 2009
Received by Sydney Office : 27th April, 2009

why are u collecting PCC right now. you wont need to so early as they expire by the time they consider your case...
 
correct.

PCC expires in 3 months...
 
I will get PCC dated almost last week of May.
My application has reached on 1st May. I am expecting AOR in two weeks.
Still my PCC shouldn't expire till August. I think it should be ok,, isnt it?

Did u complete IELTS??I am planning to get PCC from US San francisco,Indian Embassy.When I enquired about getting it from India,a passport office guy told me that.to get it from India I need to be physically present there or they will ask for original passport..
Is it possible to get the PCC from India with passport copy,my authorization letter and US residence proof??Please help..

One more question what is AOR??

When your application was reaching to Sydney, NS?
AOR = Aknowledgement of Receipt.

About PCC frm india,
I think it depends on the perticular city police station how they process...They might need original passport.. mine didnt need original.
