Anyone recently travelled to dubai for their biometrics or planning to travel.. gather here

I applied for my visa on july 25 and got aip on sep 3. My univ is also in dli list.. is it worth travelling to dubai for biometrics and has anyone done so..kindly reply

I am planning to do that but confused about few things. IRCC in their webinar said they won't expedite anything for us and it will take equal processing time as it is in the particular country. This is understandable but what I am wondering is, if we give biometric there would it give us an edge cause even if VFS opens in India in late November there will be a huge rush or they will be inviting based on their "priority".
Also I am confused if we need another biometric letter or the one we got earlier because mine is really old.

we can give with our old letter and i have confirmed this with vfs global
