Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I am a May 2011 applicant. My Ecas has been saying "Application Received" since August 2011, just to add "Medical Received" in October 2011. I haven't heard anything from CIC since then.

Is there anyone who has received PPR with the same status? Should it necessarily change into "IN PROCESS" before PPR? My file is in Buffalo. I wish it could be in Ottawa.

I am May applicant as well. I also have the same status as yours. There is nothing saying that application is in process on my ECAS. I wrote to CIC Buffalo on Jan 10/12 asking about my application. I got a reply very next day that my application is under process and no action is required from my side. It seems like a automated message because every time I send them an e-mail I get same reply. It is frustrating that people who had their applications transfered to OTTAWA have already got the PR's even if someone applied after us. As per the CIC website they have to contact the applicant for any next step 3 months after recieving the medicals. For me it is over 3 months since I submitted my medical results.

Hey, I have the same situation. Medical received nothing heard from them. Don't know how long we have to wait.

They asked me additional documents i.e., Employer Letter which I suppose they misplaced it because I did send the letter with my initial letter and GCMS says that VO could not find one. CIC gave me 60 days deadline to submit it. I sent it almost the next day.

Even if I consider that they will open my file after 60 days, still it is disheartening.....because it has been more than 90 days since I have sent the letter to them and more than 30 days till the deadline is crossed.

I am waiting every moment so that at least I can get a relief if ECAS changes to IN PROCESS, but nothing happened at all.

hi there,

Im also may 2011 applicant ,same ecas status application recived ,I understand what youre feeling right know,,its really hard specially when you see someone who got PPR which is, you process earlier than them,,its just like the world is unfair for us...we still lucky though its better to wait and let see maybe next week thats our time, we received a good news..:) I know it will come ..

Hi There,

Approximately 3 months. Ottawa is very fast. My file was reviewed and finalized in 2. If they require more docs then it could take longer

If CPP-O process your file, I would like to say wait till your mailing address disappear. Then it should be the time they send you PPR. There are many applicant had experienced this. I got my PPR after the weekend my address disappeared.

Thanks Janson for your reply

This is very strange but hope this works and my PPR will come soon. i will keep watching my E-Cas status to see if my address is disappearing... :)

My file is transfer to CPP- Ottawa last November/December

Hi Everybody,

Just want to share information of my application status and ask questions:

Application type: CEC
Application sent: July 11, 2011
Application received: July 13, 2011 ("We received your application for permanent residence on July 13, 2011. ")
Update on eCAS: "We started processing your application on September 28, 2011. "
AOR + Medical Request sent to my email: October 6th, 2011 - as well as mentioning my application is part of a group of files that has been transferred from Buffalo office to Ottawa.
Medical done: October 7th, 2011
Medical sent by the doctor: sometime in November, 2011
Update on eCAS - January 10, 2012: "Medical results have been received. "

Questions:
1. What is the next step? Am I just waiting for the PPR and RPRF? ::)
2. And if yes, how long does normally it take since the last update on my eCAS saying "Medical results have been received"?
3. Here's my concern and ask for your opinions:
I have just found another job recently, and will be going to work for my new job next week on January 23rd, 2012. My last day with my current company will be January 20, 2012. My current (will be old) employer is the one that I registered under CEC application throughout the application. At this stage, do I need to report the change of my employer to OttPilot-Immigration by email? If I need to report the change, what should I provide them? Do I need to provide all the paper work again? Or, do I just have to report them the employment letter from the old and new company, as well as the ROE which will be sent out to me around the first week of February? I'm kind of confused of what I should be doing next. :-\ :'(

Thanks in the first place.

Regards,
kucinganeh :D

1. Yes. There is nothing else you can do.

2. If CPP-O process your case, after they updated Medical results have been received, if there is no any documents missingor required. 2-3 months will be the maximum time you need wait. On my AOR, it stated if I didn't hear any thing from them from the date I received my AOR within next 120 days, they need me to contact them directly. This means they also expect to finalize the case as soon as possible.

3. CEC is not employer based immigration program. It is not necessary to inform CPP-O you find a new employer unless your have some major changes in your life such as moving somewhere else, getting married, or having Baby....

Hi Team,

My file is in CPP-O

Last Friday my status has been updated as "We started processing your application on Jan 10 2012"

Got my GCMS yesterday. It says the VO made a note "FILE SENT TO THE OFFICER FOR FINAL REVIEW."
Due Date :12th January, 2012.

Since the date has passed and my status hasn't been changed to "In Process" either.
