Hey man! One of the things I've been unable to find any info about is a supporting document for 'Spouse name change'. How did you prepare it? My wife's name before marriage (also mentioned in ECA/ educational docs) is now changed to her present name with my surname. There is no real affidavit, receipt or any proof. Just after marriage, she went to NADRA with our marriage certificate and they changed it in NICOP and then later on in passport.

However, I am a bit confused regarding PCC for my spouse as she used to live in another city before marriage. So do i need to get PCC from both cities or just the latest one would be fine?

Hey I am the wife and I didn’t change my name after marriage, just the marital status on ID card. Maybe someone else can help, post a new thread and post your concern there

From what I know, you need PCC for both cities. For every city after 18 years of age

From both cities, basically from all cities she has lived in for six months or more in a row - for last 10 years.

From what I know, you need PCC for both cities. For every city after 18 years of age

It is last 10 years. But then you don't need pcc for any time before you turned 18

Actually its after 18 years OR last tem years, whichever is more recent

Same situation as mine.

My wife's name changed too. We have used something called one and same person affidavit. You basically print this out on a piece of paper (we just did it here in Canada on plain printer paper, maybe in other places you can use legal paper or something) and get it notarized. As proof I have attached wife's old and new passports. Old passport contains her old name and new passport contains her post marriage name. I attached them after the notarized one and same person affidavit. My understanding is that this should work.

one other issue that came with her change of address after our marriage. Since she moved from her place in pindi with me in karachi we had to get 2 police certificates made

My wife moved from Karachi to Lahore, so I'm already planning to get two PCC for her. Which police station exactly do you have to go in Karachi to get PCC? (My wife used to live in Phase IV).
By the way, what stage have you reached? I heard that spousal applications take prolonged time for processing.
