You all are seniors... My DM was June 29th, 2021. July 2020 applicant.

Seems no one from Montreal has received the oath requests.

My application Jan 2020 - Only AOR March 2020
My Mother's Aug 2019 - Only AOR Nov 2019

Montreal office is a hopeless case, especially if you apply in English. I don't even bother calling IRCC call center because you only get "Covid excuses".
Really?apply in English is slower than French? My goodness,so frustrating.

Can't compare so.... My friend applied in December 2019 who filled form, the language, and took the exam in french and no DM yet. In my case, my spouse gave language proof of French.. Still no luck.

People cope with anxiety in different ways. And to some, coming up with conspiracy theories helps. In the end, it's all speculation. Citizenship is an entirely federal process. Go check the French language citizenship forum: people complain they should have applied in English because it's so obviously faster. It's all the same.

My colleague at work applied in English a year after I did it in French and he got his test and DM in January of this year, about 6 months before I did. It's just silly to assume the language as the reason, especially if you know how federal agencies work (hint: my spouse is a federal employee -- NOT IMMIGRATION.) We're all waiting for a long time and the process seems obscure and arbitrary from the outside, so people make up theories and spread them as truth. In the end, no one knows anything.

Yup. I was also referring to the sheet which @rajkamalmohanram updates. In that too, only a handful of 2020 applicants have received the oath request. It's going to be longer i assume to clear such a huge backlog...
I think Montreal Cen is where all of the Quebec applications are processed. If that is the case forget about ur application and move on . One day you ll get ur turn.
