Hi All,

Surfing some forums on this blog website I saw some people mentioned FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca as the email address of CIO. But so far has anyone actually emailed CIO at that address and got a reply?

Just wodering whether it's a spam address.

Putting it in another way, has anyone, who has received an AOR as a proactive email from CIO, seen the above email address as the Sender? I would like to make sure that I am not sending my file number to some spam/fake address, if I decide sending a mail.

Regards,
mcgyver

Hello, anyone??? :-(

how you got a file number before CIO assessment...

My file number is the only file number that I received from my visa office. See, at the time I applied, the applicants were supposed to send their applications to their respective visa offices, not CIO-Sydney. The rule later changed and to this date it stays that all applicants should submit applications to CIO-Sydney. My application was filed in April, 2008.

Why do you need to send letter to CIO when you did not apply there, the one handling your application is the local visa office. What's your point of sending letter, maybe we could help as well..

rajoni, if you don't have the patience of reading what's written, please don't bother replying anything. that's just a waste of time. just read what i wrote, or else just keep quiet and let others reply.

Send the email to CIO-Sydney: CPC-Sydney-FSW@cic.gc.ca

Aha!! Thanks S. K. So, my suspicion did come to be true! I see the email address is different from the one people have been mentioning in forums. Now I know which one is the correct one!
