@HaGuar.vi - thats true, however, I am the complete opposite, impatient to the max. Also, contacting them may sometimes show that u have keen interest and may drive them to process the application faster.
Today I got my visa after three long weeks of waiting and not knowing. I was all geared up for an interview but to my surprise I got my documents and was leaving the embassy within a couple of minutes of reaching there. I was so nervous especially about choosing a undergraduate diploma after already doing my bachelor's in the same thing. I guess it really didn't matter this time around. I am thinking that because my bachelor's was mostly theoretical and this diploma is more practical, hands-on training.... but I guess I will never know. I am truly grateful for the opportunity. Thanks for all the support guys and for the many post that were so useful in my application.
Best of luck

A fellow member sent me a mail and said she remembered my very first post and how someone tried to burst my bubble to the question I asked. Hey guys Affidavit of Support/Letter of Commitment does work and can too from a friend, just pray and God will take care of it. Don't be daunted by other people's negative comments, it is not always so, just read and know what you are about and follow your gut feeling. I am glad that this forum have some positive minded people working always to help each other...trust me, I know.
