Hi Drecalps,

I was also an international student, after kong matapos ung program ko, I applied for PR through Alberta Provincial Nominee Paper Based nung January 2017, I received AOR in March, but no update till now.

However, nung maka-one year ako sa current employer ko nung September 2017 nagapply din ako ng Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class Stream (CEC). I just got PPR yesterday. It only took 3.5 months ung processing.

To answer your question, yes you can apply for both. But I suggest na magapply ka na lang ng Express Entry directly if you reach the minimum CRS kasi mas mabilis.

Kelan mo ba matatapos ung program mo?

sino po dito ang nakikitira sa kamag-anak sa canada? nagsubmit ba kayo ng letter from that relative na makikitira kayo sa kanila? TIA
Nung nagapply ako ng study permit, nagsubmit ako ng letter from my parents na dun ako titira sa bahay nila sa Canada and on the letter they mentioned that they will provide me my basic needs including shelter, transportation and food.

thank you for the quick response. matapos ko program ko on july 2019. sa express entry nakita ko need ang IELTS (general training) , do i need to retake IELTS again if i already passed the IELTS (academic) last march 2017?

nagaasikaso na din ako ng papers ko for Celban and NNAS right now. waiting nalang for other documents. inapplyan ko LPN for alberta and RN for BC. hindi pa k decided where i want to settle. sa tingin mo saan kaya madami opportunities?and baka may idea ka if madali lng ba magtransfer ng LPN from alberta to BC?or mas okay na applyan ko na LPN pareho?

crit care nursing ang course ko maam. Hmmm, honestly, ang idea ko about that. Mahaba habang proseso ang pagiging nurse sa canada. Papa-assess pa tayo sa nnas. usually daw it will take about 6-8 months bago natin malaman kung comparable tayo. Yung iba kasi ang gjnagawa nila pinagsasabay nila ipa-assess ang RN at RPN habang nagaaral. Mostly daw, mas comparable tayo as RPN , good thing is okay lang yun as long as you gained enough canadian experience pwede mo ulit pa-assess ang RN eligibility para maging candidate tayo for nclex exam nila. It's a long process, that's a brief story lang na alam ko. Malalalamn natin later on☺
ano school mo po mam? anong school? prehas tau ng course

Hi guys!

I would just like to thank everyone in this forum for the vital information that you had shared. Also, a million salute to Mr. Kapatid and Mr. mic-mic for the endless encouragements and advices.

This is my first time to post in this forum but i was following this thread since january this year. I think it would be safe to conclude that RESEARCHING is the vehicle to our journey.

All your stories had played a significant role to my successful application.

Lastly, to my fellow nurses and ofw in this forum. Keep fighting for your dreams. Everything is possible coz i had my student visa approved in 5 weeks under regular scheme.;)

I reasoned out that I have a lot of certifications here in the Philippines (civil service eligibility, professional license, and NCII) which increase my employment prospects.
Nagsubmit ka pa ba ng training certs to solidify the claim? like nursing updates, seminars?

Hi everyone.

I am an OFW in Qatar and I sought the assistance of PinoyCare.
Napakathrilling ng process. As you all know, sa Middle East, naka block ang Qatar and lahat ng applications sa Abu Dhabi ang lodging. Madami na denied na applications from Qatar kaya ung officer ko ininsist na sa pinas e lodge ang docuemnts to which I complied naman.

Below is my timeline.

October 19, 2017 (lodging of documents to VFS Cebu)
October 21, 2017 (Medical Request)
October 23, 2017 (Medical Result - Medical test is done here na sa Qatar)
November 30, 2017 (Approved Application)

In just about 42 days or roughly 5 weeks of waiting, my application is approved. Prior to lodging my documents, it took me around 2 month to prepare for all the needed documents and PinoyCare is with me constantly checking all documents and making sure nothing goes to the visa officer unpolished.

Friendly advise lang, if may mga reference personm kayo na involved, make sure na maisasali nyo ang personal numbers/ emails nila para if ever man nakaLeave sila, makakausap pa din sila for verification.

Should you need a draft of my SOP, I'll be more than happy to share with you. Please note that you should not copy paste everything as the Visa officer will directly reject your application.
congratulations! pashare naman sis ng SOP
