Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Dear Seniors,

Just would like to ask some questions on the online application while waiting for the acceptance letter for those who have applied with dependents po.

1. What type of VISA should I choose for my son? Choices are: Visitor or Transit?
2. Purpose of my son's visit? I put Others and type on the other box: Accompanying son of the principal applicant - okay lang ba ito or should I choose: a. Family Visit OR b. Visit
3. I noticed na paulit ulit un Letter of Explanation - okay lang ba I upload ko rin ng paulit ulit un SOP namin?
4. Proof of Support - Yung parents in law ko kasi ang magpapa-aral sakin, do I need to attached my COE, ITR?

Hello saranghae, hindi naman mataas compition ng child care, actually ung best friend ko lumipat sa early child care kasi ayaw niya ung course namin which is disability studies haha. and nga pala sure ka pong 1 year lang kukunin mo? if you want to be a PR 2 years po ang kunin mo. ung isa ko din kasing friend from child care certificate inapply niya so ung visa po niya valid till next year lang, so nag sisisi siya kasi bat certificate lang kinuha nia so ang gnawa niya nag apply siya uli ng 2 year course then aapply uli siya ng visa for extension so ayun wla pang guarantee na ma aapprove po yun.

Thanks sa reply, Erwin. Wow. Good choice pala course ko. Pinag isipan ko rin if 2 years kukunin ko, but yung budget kasi.... Also, 1 year lang yung certificate course then another 1 year for diploma on Child Care. Walang straight na 2 years for that course, and I cannot change my program at this point dahil nagpareserve na ko ng seat. Yes, I plan to apply for PR after. Pwede kaya makakuha ng 3 yrs na pgwp kung apply ako visa extension to take the diploma program after taking the 1 year certificate? I hope iconsider nila.

Hello Erwin, Im sorry if I'm out of topic here? Im planning to apply for a study permit as well, what is BVC? How much show money for 1 year course?

@saranghae, meron pong two years ang early child care actually may mga slots pa sa diploma. anyways yes you can get PGWP for three years pag 2 years yung studies mo in you case if you're planning to apply for PR need mo po iextend yung visa mo 90 days before na ma expire yung permit mo. so the best way nalang po na gawin mo is mag appply ng isa pang course like disability, office assistant para magng two years ung total ng studies mo then bbgyan ka nila ng three years pgwp yes yun nga lang ung money for tution fee masydong mahal.. ung kaibigan ko ang gnwa disability studies siya then kumuha ulit siya ng early childcare so yung ibang course na credit na sa disability so as a result onti nalang babayaran niya for the 1st sem sa new course niya so its really up to you kung anong plan mo.

sa show money, need po ng one year tuiton fee plus 10,000$ sa account mo. as an example, yung per semester mo is $5000 then nes=xt sem mo is $6000 you need to have atleast 11000+10000= $21,000 sa account mo..

may question lang ako, im nurse in the philippines and im taking up practical nursing. possible ba na ipaccredit ko ung ibang subjects na na take ko na sa pilipinas? or hindi advisable yun? kasi need ko maging full time student? thanks

yes you are right po kaya hindi po nila advisable ipa credit ung mga subjcets. kaya ung english hay nako natake ko na sa pinas nang pauli ulit tapos ayun no choice ako inulit ko ulit hahah!

my question lang ako, sa husband ko na accompanying, mabilis lang ba siya makahanap ng trabaho? and anu mgaa mbilis na mkitang trabaho? and base sa sinabi mpo na pag practical nursing, hindi nakakapagtrabaho. Kaya niya kaya isustain tuition fee ko or ang living expenses namin? although i sponsor kmi ng mami ko, just thinking for other possibilities and chances. and Occupational therapist siya, possible pa kumuha siya ng license for caregiver for senior homes? alam ko kasi malaki din sweldo dun.

Well, I tried asking bvc if I can shift to Child care diploma, di raw pwede magpalit, unless magbabayad uli but they cannot guarantee a seat for me. Ganun na lang. Mag eextend ako ng visa dun. Nag alangan kasi ako sa show money dahil malaki din need at i will bring my 2 kids. Maiiwan muna si hubby, susunod nalang cya. Bale, manggaling yung funds sa father-in-law ko sa alberta, my father and a friend sa pinas. Will that work? I have very little savings.

Ah sa tingin ko kaya sinabi nila un kasi need nga ulit mag bayad. mag babayad ka po ulit ng $130 for the application fee for the diploma program pero after 1st sem ka nalang po mag apply ulit kas for sure madami pang available slots ) basta take note pag mag eexten ka ng visa need din ng show money ah? hehe..

basta explain mo lang po kung saan manggagaling ung pera and mas okay kung papagawa ka ng affidavit of support from your supporters and pagawa ka din ng letter na nag sstate na sila na bahala sa foods, shelter and etc pag dating mo ng pinas para less ang money na ipakita mo ganun ang ginawa ko nagpagawa ako ng letter from my sponsor so ayun na approved naman ) well goodluck po syo hehe


@maryjoanne actually fall palang dito December 21 pa ang official winter pero dama na namin kasi ang lamig na sobra dito hehhe. so ayun okay naman ang buhay dito mahirap at first pero mkakapag adjust din
