Hi po, Floje. Narefused din po ako sa visa application pati ung TRv kay hubby.
Pag mag online application, mabilis lang po bah??
Para sa September intake sana ako, kaso natefused nung isang araw ko lang nalaman.
Narefused kami kasi:current employment situation and personal assets and financial status

Gusto ko na agad mag reapply once ma fill in na namin yung mga lacking documents.
Yung hubby ko my work sya, kaso ang sabi ng agency namin no need na ideclare kasi hindi naman related sa work daw na applyan dun sa Canada. Yung sa akin, wala akong work after nag graduate kasi may business naman kame. Bale, lumalabas na co-owner ako ng business namin. 40years na po yung business namin. Kaya stable napo talaga.

Ano po dapt kong gawin? Need ko po tulong nyo.

Hi mmmcook, in my humble opinion, just try. You've got nothing to lose. That way walang what ifs, baka maapprove, baka hindi. But if you try to back read a bit, based sa sharing ng seniors, may mga nagtry on their second attempt in 2weeks or less naaproove naman- with a little editing on the submitted docs and a stronger sop based sa letter ng vo. If hindi nila pinaglaban, they wouldnt be in canada right now or preparing to leave for canada. But mind you some have been refused again ha. On the brighter side, this outcome can give you a chance to better asses your situation and your future plans -'whether it would still be applying for the next intake or taking on another route. Nothing is for certain but lakas lang ng loob and fight fight fight! If theres any consolation, you have more than a month to go in your favor plus a fresh set of docs to submit so go na! Ako kasi i reapplied less than a month na nga, and still waiting for my shot at an sp! With gods grace, all will be well. Good luck to us!

Suakerock.. Just preparing for both outcomes, may I ask if you had to provide a reason for your withdrawal request? How did you do this? Malapit na kasi ang start ng classes -sept 8, and im just preparing myself in case i do not hear back on time. -ang laki din ng tuition deduction e.

Im still awaiting for any updates!none pa rin so far...huhuhu..my application was closed na sa bowvalley so asking for refund sa confirmation fee..pero still hoping na dumating this week para magpareconsider pa ako sa school if pwede pa nila ako tanggapin..so sad pero ayun preparing na for jan intake! when start ng class mo?and what school are you nga?

Hey hi just keep on trying so long as tama na lahat mga lacking na documents before plus it would greatly help if pa-check nyo muna dito sa mga seniors natin before you submit para ma bigay opinion. Keep the faith pag gusto makakahanap tayo way para ma achieve natin inaasam natin

Btw may i also ask if meron na nkapag try dito and if its possible with this scenario: the husband or wife is issued a student visa tapos yung partner applied for tourist visa dito sa philippines but upon landing sa canada nag apply na for owp habang si husband/wife maintained the status of a student visa holder? Is that possible? Thanks

Denden, probably a hundred pages back, someone's partner and child got refused of the OWP and TRV when they applied for the first time. What I think they did was had them apply for TRV, applied online for the OWP once they were inside Canada, etc and then finally got it. I think they were successful at the third attempt.

Hi renz at coconutree version 2.0: I am still waiting for a positive outcome as of now. Yesterday, my medical has been updated to "passed" so I guess they started looking into it. Sept 8 din start ng class but I was given until Sept 22 to obtain SP. At least it would give me about a month to wait

So here's what happened for the past week, my consultant traveled to Toronto to meet with RCIC regarding my documents. I had to revise my SOP as per RCIC before lodging my application (Aug 19). I thought my SOP was well written initially that I wanted to bypass this extra step. Anyway, I am so glad I had waited for his feedback. I could have committed another mistake. I mean nothing is still certain at this point. :-X

Anyway, that was pretty much the reason why I could not update you guys before. This is my last shot as I also started looking into different route (Australia) in case things don't turn out good.

Coconutree: You're right! I am still hopeful. Please update me of your timeline, we are both for Sept. 8.

Renz: A week is still a week. It is not impossible to get a word from them within this week. Just pray!

Quick recap:
Reason of refusal is Travel History and Purpose of Visit.

When I applied for 2nd time, these are the changes I made:

-Proof of visas (3 Asian countries)
-Strong SOP with advise from RCIC from Toronto.
-I know I had no problem with financial previously but I put in up to CAD ~55,000 excluding CAD 16,000 (paid tuition for 1 yr) = CAD 71,000
-I declared Transfer of Credits towards my Canadian degree as per RCIC. He said it prevents redundancy of introductory courses (Physics, Chem, etc.) which might have caused the VO to think the reason why I would rather choose to take another Bachelors on previous application.
-I also presented figures of job demand in the Phils on my chosen study when I come back.
-Btw, I explained how my chosen program + Co op are not being offered anywhere in the Phils which leads to shortage and high job demand

So that's pretty much it for now. I am a bit confident with my profile now than before so if I still don't get it, maybe it's not for me. Hehe

hey, congrats, mic-mic!! At least konting araw na lang, makakasama mo na sila!

I arrived in Toronto yesterday via PAL. Uneventful flight, mahaba lang. Nagstop over sa Vancouver before kami dumating sa Toronto at 8:15 pm. Super quick lang ang POE experience ko. First stop is when you submit your visa and your declaration card. 2 questions lang tinatanong: Why are you here in Toronto? saka Are you bringing in only seafood? (may dala kasi akong dried fish at pusit ). Tapos you get in line for your study permit. Matagal lang kasi mahaba yung pila. When I got to the CBSA Agent, ang tinatanong sa akin is "Why are you here in Canada" and "Did you already pay your tuition?" then they printed my permit, yun na

Marami pang gagawin - bukas na siguro ako lalabas to do them all. Hindi pa malamig sa Toronto ngayon (23 degrees).

Our dilemna now is that she needs to be here by Friday dahil may meeting siya with her boss on Saturday afternoon. Sana lang ay dumating agad pabalik ang passport niya. VFS emailed her na Wednesday daw dadalhin so hopefully Thursday or Friday morning makuha na niya. Wish us luck guys and please pray!
