Ang importante is your school and your course PGWP eligible. Most private schools hindi or selected programs lang. yung ibang private schools nanloloko pa ng studyante by misleading them about pgwp eligibility. Kaya ingat sa pagpili ng college.

Hello po, I had 2 classmates ages 43 and 54. Di naman sila na deny. One was even a doctor and shifting careers to IT para lang makapunta dito.

The basics of SOP po is to show the logic why you decided to study a particular program, why in Canada and what will you do after you study.

Kelangan lang po is may proof kayo na if that plan fails (which we all hope will not happen), uuwi kayo ng matiwasay and hindi kayo gagawa ng bawal dito just to survive. The assets tie you back pero at the same time, pwede mo din siya ibenta para sustentuhan ka incase kinapos ka para hindi ka mapilitan mag under the table. Under dual intent naman po ang mga student applicants and they can smell a fake story a mile away. Pansin ko po kasi sa batch ngayon is more on concentration nila is to trick the VO para lang ma grant sila ng visa. IF you guys have backread enough, honesty is the best policy po talaga. Meron nga po noon nag apply, kulang ang funds pero may scholarship, zero car, zero house and lot, and even mention sa SOP na mag apply siya ng PR after makawork, ayun, nauna pa nga sa amin nila scorpio dumating ng Canada hehe

What I did notice before is parang mas nahihirapan ang mga nurse, ofw, zero travel history and may mga asawa but as long as malinaw ang explanation, I think it would be ok.

We even mentioned that in their SOP hehe So like I said, basta honest lang po. :)

Hello mic-mic, thank you for extending your time replying sa mga tanong ko po. I totally agree with you, i will be never go wrong to be honest. Yes i think the significant factor is how we could prove yo the VO that we will leave once the visa will expire and if we have intention for PR we will do it in the right way, in all legal ways. Maraming maraming salamat mic-mic sa mga ideas mo. god bless you always and your family.

Don't worry. I am older than you and never had a problem with my application. I've graduated and found work here. They aren't allowed to refuse you based on age kasi illegal yun.

Hi RomanSky! pasensya na medyo naging busy lately in preparation for my daughter's flight. Yung case kasi ng daughter ko ay iba, Uni had offered her an entrance scholarship and we applied for transfer credit thereafter and luckily it was approved dahil halos parehas lang ang course taken and applied. She was still an ongoing sophomore college student at that time (this year lang) when we applied and received the LOA. So, dahil sa advanced standing continuation na lang yung remaining 2 years undergraduate degree nya since she is considered a transfer student (going 3rd year sa Uni sa CA). I guess, we just demonstrated and proved that she really is a bonafide student and as per MtA, Uni has a unique acceptance and admission process kasi decisions are based on academic record etc. Salamat din at good luck sa iyo. God bless. :)

Pinaynay,
Ano pong mga sinubmit nyo to transfer the credits?

Thanks po

Hi loma_linda! Nag request ang Uni sa Canada ng syllabus( course/programme/outline/time/schedule of study) for evaluation and to compare kung same lang sa kanila. The Uni evaluated the requested syllabus after submission. We received the LOA sometime March this year and the final and approved transfer credit just last June. Kasi sayang din kung mag re-take sya ng mga subjects na taken na maliban sa time at pera. Good luck and God bless. :)

Anyone here who also applied during the first week of July? This wait is really nerve-wracking! I wish I could've chanced upon this forum sooner, and before I submitted my application. Sobrang dami kong natutunan. Now I'm not feeling so confident about it
Hi Angel_17! I can feel your emotion. Same here, also found out this forum right after the submission of my daughter's study permit application. I must admit I was so confident about it since the very start finding a school up to applying a study permit. I even relied on the specified 5 weeks processing time from cic where we lodged our application. Confident enough that we haven't been denied of any visit visas before. Don't get me wrong but we do travelled a lot. We even delayed the submission after she turned 18 y/o to avoid guardianship requirement while renewing her passport. But upon reading those posts sobrang kinabahan at ninerbiyos talaga ako. My husband and daughter were so upset kasi nga sobrang affected ako and told me to stop visiting and reading this forum anymore hahaha. Cheers and good luck. :)

Also, you cannot apply for a student visa if wala pa si acceptance letter ninyo po
