Anyone else had a paper-based application? It's been 6 months since I submitted mine for Fall 2020 intake. I had to defer to Winter 2021 dahil nga hindi nila iproprocess yung paper-based applications. It's so frustrating lang kasi I submitted a complete package na, with biometrics and medical. And if di parin sila mag process in time for Winter given the country's situation, ewan ko nalang. Another year wasted.

It’s best to submit a deferred LOA.

Madalas mga jan to february nagsubmit tong mga to.

I’ve also seen applicants with paper based application from march who received their AIP but in another country. If you want a study permit, that you can’t expect soon. The only thing they’re doing now is AIP for complete and incomplete applications.

I already submitted a new LOA through IRCC and they confirmed naman na they received the new document. Also emailed the office in Manila but received no response from them.

Just curious po, saan niyo po nakita yung posts about paper applicants receiving 1st stage approval? February 13 ako nagsubmit ng application. And the last update I received was on March 5 na I passed the medical exam. Hoping na I'll receive positive updates soon.

Good day po. Gusto ko po sana humingi ng tulong. Narefuse po kasi study visa ko for the 6th time last May 12.

"Documentation on file reviewed. I note the applicants numerous previous refusals for a Canadian SP. Applicant wishes to undertake a technical writing certificate program at Seneca College. I note that according to the applicant's resume he already works in a technical writing job, has 17 years of professional writing experience including supervisory positions and holds a BSC in Communications Technology Management from the Philippines. As such, I am not satisfied that the proposed course of studies reflects a logical academic or career progression for the applicant. Therefore I am not satisfied with the applicant's purpose for studying in Canada, nor that the applicant would be a genuine student whose intent is to study and would respect the terms of admission. Application denied."

First of all po kasi iba naman po technical writing sa ginagawa ko ngayon, which is a web content writer. Thanks.
Nag-apply din ako kasama ng wife ko as OWP, and ginawa ko ung daughter ko as home ties... hindi kaya nana-affect din po ito sa decision ng VO? Thanks.

Me! I lodged paper-based last March 5 with biometrics and medical narin. I deferred to Winter 2021 already. Last update was June 30, medical passed.

Possible po ba na di na sila mag-update na nareceive nila yung biometrics ko since I already did it when I lodged my app? Kasi reviewing eligibility narin ako eh.

I hope after MECQ magprocess narin sila nung mga paper-based. :( Nakakafrustrate kasi halos lahat nung mga recent apps yung may update. Yung mga from Jan-March parang wala parin update yung iba. Very few applications from March received AIP's lang din.

Has any one of you tried to apply for GCMS notes even though your apps are still being processed?

Nainform niyo na po ba IRCC regarding deferral and submitted new LOA?
