I KNOW RIGHT! Its depressing... I'm with my husband now. I was hoping that by the time I leave here I could be like "hey at least we got AOR2", but sadly I do not think this is going to be the case. :'(

Hello!

It is true the now you need to take your police report to the consulate at sd? I hear something but i am not sure about it because that information is not anywhere, cic website,consulate/embassy of canada website does anyone here has done that recently?

Yes you do! A friend of mine had to do it in June! Here's the link from CIC and the address!

The reason why people don't know about it, is because some get their PC from police stations in other cities and send them in. But if you go to the one listed on the CIC website they direct you to the consulate to have it validated. Better safe than sorry. You never know with Mexico, they might make you do it over. I guess it all comes down to the luck of the draw on which V/O you get.

Yess I was scared reading the letter... Hopefully they don't ask for anything in the future

so what did it say?
just that they received your application?

I'm a December applicant and STILL waiting >:(

Sb414 did you get the Aor2 when it got to Santo Domingo? And also when it reached Mexico saying the two months wait? ..... It technically says they received, this is the processing time.. They mention what it's gonna happen in case of interview if there any etc etc

OMG! I received PPR last week! I've been so busy, I didn't post to the forums yet, plus we're trying to keep it low key for now and also because he needs to get his passport renewed. He did it on Monday and we are sending it off on Friday. So our journey is almost complete. I won't be completely satisfied until we get it.
