Any way to check my visa status?

Is there a way to check my visa status?It's been over 2months and in 2 weeks it's my flight time.

Do they send email if your visa was approved or denied?I did email them asking but they haven't replied,
doubt they will too seeing it's been almost 2 weeks since i emailed them.

I sent my documents to Canadian Embassy in Italy (as was required)

What?!you've been waiting 2months for your TRV application response? Oh my gosh I guess I do have to be worried. It's been nearly a month since I sent mine, and I was wondering if they actually saw my application,or maybe it never even reached them. I have no way of confirming!
