Hello,
I am an elementary teacher in France and I want to apply as a teacher to Express Entry (NOC 4032).
This profession is regulated in Canada so do I have to get a Canadian license before applying? Or can I apply with my teaching experience and get licensed once I will be in Canada with a permanent residence status?

Thank you

You should be fine to apply right now.

Try using a different browser to and check if your application is still there. If you don't see the application, then it is a technical issue. You need to communicate with CIC.

In the meanwhile, I suggest you to create another EE profile and try and get a PT in that. If the issue with your existing application is fixed, then you can withdraw that profile.

Requiring license for regulated occupations has nothing to do with your application process. Once you land in Canada, you need to get licensed before you could work in that regulated profession.

Hi, very first post here. Just wanted to say that this is an incredibly useful website. really helpful!
I have a couple of questions:
1) So i got my ITA on the 14th and have started to put all my documents in place for my application. While doing so i realised that i had put the months wrong in one of my jobs for the foreign work experience category(put September instead of May). I calculated and even after the correction i still have more than 6 years of foreign work experience. Is this OK going to be an issue?
2) It says that the jobs done should be continuous and full time (more than 30 hours) So if have worked at one place for 2 years and 2 months and then immediately afterwards at another with the same profile for 3 months, it would be calculated at 2 years and 5 months or would the 3 months not be valid?

Would really appreciated any info on this.
Thanks!

This will be an issue if you got points for mentioning September instead of May.

It will count 2 years and 2 months.

Would really appreciated any info on this.
Thanks!

Thanks JoacRy

Another followup question then. What number of years of foreign experience counts towards getting the full 50 points in that category?

3 years of foreign experience would fetch maximum points.

and does this need to be all in the same code or would multiple, eligible codes be good enough?

As long as you have at least one year continuous work experience in one NOC, you can count other occupations with different NOC s.

Hello Mates,

I have a Important Question regarding Education if you could kindly help to solve:
- 1) I have graduated from Westminster University (UK) - 1 year Foundation studies and 3 years for Bachelors - total 4 years of study.
Question: Will it be counted as "3 or more years of Bachelor degree" OR "2 or more Certificates Diplomas"?

Thank you for kind Help

Depends on what your ECA report says. Have you got your ECA done?

Check the WES degree equivalency tool, you will get an idea - http://www.wes.org/immigrants/preliminary.asp. No one in the forum can tell you the assessment result that WES will do.
