Can anyone be able to tell me if I am filling EE (Intended work in canada) section are correct or not?

Do you have a job offer in canada?
Yes (I assume yes because I have been working here)

Was a positive Labour Market Information Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada? Help
No

Is .. currently working in Canada?
Yes

Does .. have a valid work permit for the current job in Canada?
Yes

Does the job offer from the employer named on the current work permit?
No (because it does not stated it there).

Four digit NOC code of current work permit
There is no option for selecting "NO" (In this case I am selecting the 2172 Noc code)

Was a positive Labour Market Information Assessment (LMIA) issued for the current work permit?
No

Can you please help me in this ?

I am confused after reading this:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/results-by-topic.asp?t=29
see the work experience and job offer section
Hi,
for the first question 'Do you have a job offer in Canada?' the answer should be 'No' even if you're working. 'Yes' would only for job under LMIA .

Hello, i have done bachelor of physiotherapy from india. My EE score without WES is 337 (Under CEC applied from within canada). I have applied for WES and it is under process.
please tell me how many points we get for ECA for a 4yrs bachelor's degree. I am worried as my PGWP is going to expire by june end :(. If i can get around 112 points with ECA which increases my score to 449, there is a hope for me to get an ITA by May ending.

Please give your suggestions on this.

Hi,

You definitely stand a chance to get and ITA by May end once you have your ECA report with you. And once you get an invite and file your case for PR, I think you can apply for bridging visa even if your PGWP gets expired.

Hi everyone I have a query, I have 2 years continuous exp from outside Canada, but I haven't got points from foreign work experience. After I submitted EE profile, it said "CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 0". I am CEC applicant.

My question is,

1.What could be possible reason that someone not getting points from foreign exp.

2.Do I still have to provide employment letter to CIC while I will apply for PR even though I haven't got any points from EE under foreign work experience.?

Thanks.

Hi All,
Can anyone give the answer on this:-

I am at athe initial stage of Express Visa entry Procedure...m waiting for my ECA and will apear for IELTs general soon.

Recently, I came across, a student Visa agent, who suggested me to go on a student Visa rather Express Visa Entry coz Student Visa process will be faster and express visa entry is a lengthier process and getting ITA without a job is very difficult.

Is it Correct?

getting ITA will depend on your crs scores . wait for your eca and do good on your ielts.
since you already paid for eca and assuming for ietls too, go for express entry imo.

not familiar with student visa though.

factors to consider that will give you points for the FSW grid and EE pool:
age
educational attainment (wes result)
proof of funds- depends on family size
direct relative in canada
ielts score
years of exp: foreign or canadian

im confused. i didnt know that this tool exist:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

here's the problem. my EE profile shows that my CRS score is 419, but when i took this CRS tool it only provided me with a score of 394. what i noticed is that, i only selected 2 years for this:

"How many years of skilled foreign work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation."

now i have 2 noc 'occupation' that will total to more than 3 years of foreign work experience but since it said that it should only be in only one occupation i selected 2 years and thats how i got 394. however, in the EE profile it does not give us an option to select that. rather, it calculates it by the work experience you put in under work history. in my work history, i have 2 noc codes which totals to more than 3 years foreign experience. coupled with my high ielts score, thats how i got 419.

so now im really confused. which one is the correct one? or have i been unintentionally misrepresenting information that i might not be aware of? it is the EE profile system that summed up my score under the work history for 419. it didnt ask for how many years of work experience i have. or does it? i have reviewed it twice and there is none. can anyone enlighten me on this?

oh nevermind. i just realized that i worked 40 hours per week (5 days/week), so while i may only have 2 years of work experience, in CIC's evaluation i have more than that. since i exceeded 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week) for the each year i was working.

for reference to anyone having the same confusion as i have previously.
