Hi

I created EE profile, at No point I was asked for ECA details.
When should I be asked for Wes reference number?
Looking forward to ur response.

From Study and Languages Tab -

Check after this

Was XXXXX awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate? Help

After this you will get this option

Has XXXXX had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate? (It must have been from an agency approved by CIC.)

Select Yes.. and you will get all required option to put your ECA information..

Hi there, i have a question about how to fill in 'Work History'.

Case 1: There are instances where I have been in same position (with same or different companies) but have had different job codes
Case 2: There are instances where I have been in different positions but same job code

For both the cases above, do I have to create a separate line item in 'Work History'? Does that mean I have to get a reference letter for each line item I create?

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

Cheers
Tarun

Hi All,

My overall work experience in Information Technology is more than 8.5 years which is not relevant to my education (Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication). As I have studied a number of Information Technology subjects while I was pursuing the Electronics and Communication degree, so I got this job in IT and have been doing pretty well since then.

I just gave IELTS exam, and scored following bands:

Reading - 9
Speaking - 9
Listening - 8
Writing - 7

My concern is since my education differs from my work experience domain (though IT subjects were a partially a part of my curriculum) , would it cause any negative impact on my Express entry application ?

Thanks for your help in advance!!

Many IT professionals are from EEE background.. shouldn't be an issue.. in anyways.. Job experience matches with the NOC code you are applying is the most important factor..

I got over all 377 point under EE what is the next step .,.,kindly help??

Hi Guys,

Thanks for answering my first query. I have one more :-[... does anybody know a phone number or an email ID (preferable) where I can send my query regarding my name in the passport.

My last name is blank, I want to know what needs to be done here. Help center says - put your given name in 'Surname' field & write Not Applicable in 'given name' field. That sounds a little odd, so wanted them to cross-verify this information.

Thanks in advance,
Anamika

Hi All,

On Friday express entry draw, i got an invitation to apply for PR under FSW category. After completing my online application, I noticed its asking me to upload "Certificate of Qualification", which is separate from "Degree/diplomas" upload link.
In my EE profile i mentioned "Yes" for "Does Anupam Roy have certification of qualification from a Canadian province or territory?" and i have got points only for "Skill Transferability - Education" (50 points) not for "Skill Transferability - Certificate of qualification". When i filled my EE profile, I thought my Master's of Electrical Engineering Degree from Canadian University can be considered as certification of qualification from a Canadian province or territory.

Can i upload my Master's degree as a Certificate of Qualification?

Please advise

Thanks

Hi I have a question?

I also have 398 points, But when I m creating my profile in EE (determining my eligibility) it says I DO NOT appear to qualify for EE.

NOC 2173 - 2 + experience in foreign

ENGLISH : reading : CLB 12 | writing : CLB 8 | speaking : CLB 9 | listening : CLB 12

Funds I do have enough

I am in canada and have ECA and everything done as I already applied for FSW 14 (which means I already crossed 67/100 barrier)

what is happening?

You cannot..
University Degree certificates are not considered as "certification of qualification"
call them and let them know that, better to decline it than to get it rejected. Otherwise they may take it as misrepresentation.
"certification of qualification" is something needed for certain jobs like A+ or any security certificates.

Hi everyone..

I need your valuable suggestion regarding choosing Job Title. Does job title need to match with the example titles as listed on the HRSDC website? As in my case the job duties fall under NOC 1311 and I have selected Accounting Bookkeeper as my job title in the EE online application form. Hope, there is no harm if I do so! Or Do I need to mention some different title which is not the exact copy of the HRSDC example titles? Can I rather choose "Accountant" which is a nomenclature for job duties involving accounting work.

Plz guide..
Thanks

Hi,

CIC determines candidate NOC codes based on duties (Roles and responsibilities) mentioned for each NOC code, not on job title. Every employer uses different job titles for their employees, this doesn't mean that you are not worked in the NOC code when your title doesn't match.
