agreed. The spreadsheet in this forum is simply too small of a sample size to make a sensible statistical judgement. Anyone say "it's good enough" or alike, I would consider that as pure speculation (there is nothing wrong in speculation), just keep that in mind and don't take that too seriously.

Yes, and people keep forgetting that there are a lot of people who don't post on this forum having that extra 600 points from a valid job offer supported by a LMIA. LMIA is hard to get but it is not impossible, so there is still a large population out there who has a higher score than what people on this forum consider the "average".

I already submitted my EE profile and I used one of the NOC B codes for my occupation. But today I learned that my actual NOC is different - NOC A. My lowest score in IELTS is in writing section which is 6, rest of sections are above 6.

Updating the EE profile is easy? Has anyone updated their profile after submitting it?

Yes just log onto your MyCIC account then find your application from the list and click on that "View Status and Message" button. From there go to the very bottom and select the "View Submitted Application" button and then you can edit your profile from there.

No problem. After you have done all the update make sure you clicked on the "continue" button at the bottom and re-transmit the changes to CIC. After you have returned to the home page of your MyCIC account your application should have the "Updated" status and later it will be changed to "Submit".

I do not know how long IELTS is valid for since I wrote CELPIP instead. Your IELTS score report needs to be valid when you submit your application and I believe it should be no older than 2 years from the date you wrote the exam (it is listed somewhere on the CIC website under the Language Test section). And yes you ened to unique code that is shown on the report and you will need to input that code into your EE Profile.

Once you have completed all the sections you should get a "continue" option at the bottom of the same page. Once you click, it will take you to next page where you need to sigh and transmit the application.

Note - Every time an applicant make a change/update the EE profile he/she has to undergo this process. After doing this you can check the status of your EE application after sometime (few minutes to a day).

I am now asking if I have to apply to job hiring related to my work in job bank?
Do I need to send them my resume or they will be notify me if there is an available job related to my field?

When I check my application/profile status, it is blank (I submitted my file on Saturday, January 18th).
Should I just assume that they didn't assess my application yet?

Hello,

I just want to ask you that i applied for FSW and 3-4 days back i got an email from my Credit card provider that my payment of $550 CAD declined due to security reasons.
Please let me know what can i do now as they have tried atleast 3 times to deduct $550 CAD from my credit card but it declined due to some security reasons....i asked my CC provider but they told me that the card which i sent was for domestic use only.
Please give your suggestions.

Hi,

I am currently in Canada on a WP and my wife is here with me on an Open Work permit.
From the past 3 months, she is working with one of the Canadian bank as a Full-Time Employee.

My question is - will it make sense to apply for Express Entry with my wife as the primary applicant and mention her offer letter as a proof of job?
Please note she doesn't have a valid LMIA as she came here on an Open Work permit.

Your inputs will be appreciated.
