I have a question? Well for anyone....

My E cas is only showing two items
My Name Decision Made (Inside it says (We received your application for permanent residence on october 2009)
My Name Application Received. (Inside it says We received your application on x xx 2009, We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on Dec 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Your comments are well appreciated.

If your ECAS status changed to DM after passport submission then it is a good sign. Otherwise it is not. If this happened prior to submission of passports then just pray that this should only be system glitch which happens quite often. good luck

It seems some problem of system error as the E cas supposed to show only one status at a time.... I can assume it could be a reason of transforming GCMS from CAIPS... You need to keep checking your E cas for next couple of weeks if it remains the same.. you can sent a case specific inquiry and wait for any official response..... My intuition says it might be an error (and pray to be so too).

Well on the worst side... as your file yet not turned into In process.... DM indicates grave fate... I hope your Job responsibilities and Ref letter supported for the NOC you applied for....

But whatever it is juts wait for a couple of weeks and I am sure GOD will help you to overcome. All the very best mate

As I have written in the past, last november it changed to In Process. But two months ago, E-Cas went wild... All info disappeared, then it showed partial info... Now it´s showing my address correctly.

Sorry i probably have missed the point that you already are In process....Its usually not very common to see the E cas to be tuned from In process to DM (except after PP submission)... So there is reason for you to presume it could well be an E cas error... Disappearing and reappearing of address in the E cas also supports the idea that probably your CHC is under the phase of transition from CAIPS to GCMS....So relax and wish you all the best mate.

This morning, I sent an e-mail requesting more info about the status, and I have received an e-mail from local VO and states that a decision has not being made. Also, they gave me another case number that starts with an E... So, this will the the 3rd Case number I am assigned for the past 18 months...

As I have mentioned before, NO additional docs have been asked after changing to In process status... I went to check my NEW CASE NUMBER and still the same... ;D

Dear DM before passport request is a disasterous status. it means rejection or in some cases it means system issue. in ur case it is a system migration issue from caips to gcms that is why u have been issued a new number. It is a good news becoz ur app is not rejected and still under processing. dont worry u will be asked additional docs when requried
