On April 16, 2015, CIC received my husband's application to renew his PR card that was expiring on September 4, 2015. He got an email on July 9th that his application would go through a secondary review. Till now the status has not been updated. I tried googling any info about the secondary review time limit but found no specific number of days given. Does anyone suggest that we use the Case Specific Enquiry? Is there anyone who has gone through the similar number of waiting days or filled the Case Specific Enquiry form? If yes, how long did it take to get CIC feedback? Kindly advise.
