My wife lives in Tehran and there are a couple of examination centers from in Tehran that were suggested by IRCC website. I was wondering that you perform your medical examination in Iran or you went abroad to complete it?

you can do it in Tehran or also other cities of Iran. No need to go abroad

this is my timeline:
application receive date (IRCC): 18 jan 2019
start processing date: 6 march 2019
bio req letter: 26 march 2019
bio complete: 1 april 2019
sponsor appr: 27 march 2019
CSQ req letter: 3 april 2019
application transfer to ankara: 11 april 2019
CSQ received: 13 june 2019
no update for last 6 months, and haven't received medical request yet.
any other applicant experiencing the same?

Basically, everyone in this forum is experiencing major delays. My husband has 8 days on his timeline. we paid the RPRF in September and have yet to hear back.
What a few of us have done was tweet the hell outta the canadian embassy, Prime minister Trudeau etc in order to get things going. Right now I am about to get my family and friends to tweet as well! I am fed up. I suggest you tweet and retweet others post as well.

A number of us here are experiencing delays similar to your case. If you read retrospectively, you will find that some applicants have not received their medical instruction letter even after the one year nominal processing period. We don't know exactly how many though, ... about two or three from last December and about 15 from last January to March have not received feedback from the Ankara VO for several months.
