No action for a while ... this is bad ...

think we can bride them with Tim Horton coffee and donuts ? lol :D

maybe the coffee will keep them awake for the month of august lol

I work at a pharmacy ..how about we send them some Ritalin that way they can FOCUS on their work lol (jk)

I have a feeling because it is Ramadan they will slack off like no tomorrow! I bet you their work hours are even cut short. Might as well check back after Eid!

Why .. their Canadians, and should be working standard 6-8 hours a day... and should be subjected to Canadian holidays, not that of the country they reside in ..

I think its the holiday season. Canadians like to take vacation and go back to Canada during August, because the weather is nice

... sigh ...

I bet your right, although with Amman handling 3 countries applications you'd think they would hire more to reduce the backlog, and/or compensate for the people on holiday

I have been going back and forth to this embassy……… they know me by name now lol…..One of the Consular, which is a actual Canadian, not local staff, she said after the tragedy in Syria, you would think Ottawa would send more people to have backlog………………………. she said its the same staff, and same people, and working extra hard. And as for Ramadan, they usually get off at 430, but not its 300……………. but while i was there, Ali one of the Visa consulars, has been sick for the past 3 days, so keep in mind, vacations, sick calls, ramadan. Yeah, it really really sucks. Its terrible actually…………. Spousal immigration should not be this long

Ramadan Kareem!

I'm at a lost for words :'(

Even though I think they still slack off cause face it majority are Arabs (considering they would want people that speak the language of the country and applicants). I do feel for them though it is Ramadan and they are working. I myself have been slacking off work and school here because its Ramadan. So I am not gonna blame them too much. What is a few more months gonna do honestly? They have already taken so much time out of our lives.

I work construction, which in Ramadan is really hard. Generally I find myself slacking a little, that is a given this time of month. But these applications affect peoples lives. Since I started this application I find myself sleeping less, stressing more, eating less, and so on.
That is not to say they don't deserve a break, on the contrary I believe they do, but especially during this month ( Ramadan ), hiring more people to lighten the work load without falling behind just makes perfect sense.. no ?
