Hi everyone,

I am new at this. I am a Canadian Citizen and I am sponsoring my Husband who is in Amman, Jordan at the moment. We have hired a lawyer to help us with this process. We have finished putting all our documents together. We are just waiting for his Police Record. :( They are taking a very long time (very unorganized) :(. After he gets his Police Record we will send our file. I have read everyone's messages and I am very scared. I cannot believe it is taking so long for everyone to get their PR's. :| 20 months is a very long time :(.

Welcome soso23

Always nice to see ( I mean read ) about new members here. Inshallah .. Your process will be short, and You will find help and support here, during this difficult journey you are about to face. So on that note I say "Welcome Aboard".

I can't stand it any more, guys!
All applications which were received after our application have been done and still we've heard NOTHING.
What bad luck we've got!

KhalidIraq .. I feel for you brother. I really do. I know you'v tried alot of different things, and I will mention some here, maybe someone will get an idea. Have you ordered your Ecas ?, called an MP ? called and emailed the VO directly? or requested to talk to a higher authority at the Amman VO. I will keep digging .. maybe I'll find something you haven't tried yet.

Inshallah God will compensate you for this agony with a long happy life :)

Thank you CKnD!

Hopefully my husband will get his Police Record very soon so we can get the process started! I will keep everyone updated! :D

hey guys so im going to go and pick her visa and passport up on wensday right?? what does the visa loook like

I think he got visa not ppr cause I remember him saying he applied for Visa recently. Is the correct Ayad or is this a PPR, because the email looks really different then the usual PPR emails.

The letter states that she got approved as a PR but on her passport it will say VISA. I think, not 100% sure though.

Yeay Congrats Ayad you can finally smile and not complain about this process. I am teasing you but congratulation all the best on a new chapter of your life!

I am excited :D Finally some good news.

Khalidiraq, I know how you feel inshalla your turn is next and soon. I really hope for that because I do feel it is unfair that you have waited longer than most and you're still waiting. Have patience and everything in its right time is a great thing. Kolshi ibwakta 7elo! :D
