thanks feverdeams. I wish all of you ,specially who waited over one year already, to get ppr soon. As a matter of fact, I am still waiting just like you guys. next week, i want to take the medical exams for the second time because i did it in March 2011. well i am here in Canada with my wife already but as a visitor. i think that doesnt make any difference when it comes to medical that expires after one year.
anybody knows about this!

I sent my sponsorship application in June 2011.

I received an e-mail 2 months later, in August 2011, telling me that I was accepted as a Sponsor and that my application was sent to Damascus for further processing.

Two weeks ago, my wife received an e-mail telling her to redo her medical exam.
However, I just went to check my application status on the CIC website, and it says IN PROCESS -- We started processing ******'s application on October 1, 2012.


What the hell is this? Should I be worried? Did I just wait 14 months for my application to START getting processed?

Did they ask you to wait? may be your passport is ready but they are waiting for you to pick it up.

may be you should try to go on Wednesday at 2:00 pm,you could find it ready and waiting for you.

yes dear Musab. I agree with the folks who say to go and check as you have nothing to lose and ur passport with visa on it that might get. you waited two weeks already which happened to a lot of people before. i mean its normal so dont worry but its okay to inquire about it.

For Schedule A IMM5669, Education, i have questions

In Jordan where i was living i finish high school but its different from Canada , because we study from grade first -to grade 10 and after that acording to your marks you will continue high school ( Literary, scientific, commercial) for 2 years .
my q :1. should i write : 10 Elementary( primary school ) , 2 Secondary (high school )?
2. should i write : Type of certificate or diploma issued : Scientific ?
3. I studied in University 1 semester ( which is 13 hours ) and i still can continue, should i include this or no ? and if yes please explain for me how .

you should write it as follow:
elementary/mid school 9 years
highschool 3 years (not 2)
and dont forget to wruite the name and the address of those schools
about the university if you stoped taking more courses then do not mention it unless if you are graduated or still at the university.

thanks for your reply , but this is still confusing me because how can i write 9 years elementary and 3 years secondary ? because i studied 10 years in the same school which is the UNRWA SCHOOL and in the secondary school i just studied 2 years , so its okay to say i study 3 years in the secondary school even i had just 2 years their ?
