Hi,
I recently learn't that an application as a federal skilled worker is only eligible for processing if it meets one of three requirements. These are 1) arranged employment 2) a foreign national who has lived legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student 3) being a skilled worker in the 38 occupations listed.
My concern is my eligibilty based on the second provision. I received a study permit for 12 months and thus have studied in Toronto, Canada at York University as an exchange student in order to complete an academic year of my undergraduate programme. Having studied for this period of time, does this make me eligible under the second provision mentioned above?
