Just a weird thought guys. Should we also apply in Express Entry even after getting Ccc or submitting an application in FSW14 program. Seniors please comment. Thank you!

I created a profile yesterday. And I recommend doing so to everybody that hasn't gotten a PER yet.

I had applied in database analyst category..application reached CIO on 22nd Oct..no updates since then..anybdy else sailing in the same boat. :-\

I've heard that it asks for UCI number when you create a profile specifically when you answer yes to "Have you applied for immigration previously". How did you managed with this part ?

Hi! Would you know how long it takes to encash a DD? Im also 23rd applicant and as of the 29th Oct, my DD still remains untouched. Thanks
Well im not sure..bt I heard it takes more or less 2 weeks more than CC

This is what is written in cic website in the FAQ section.
======================
Q. I am currently waiting for my application for permanent residence to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker Program. Can I submit an Express Entry profile?

You may submit a new Express Entry profile, but it is not necessary. However, we will not refund any processing fees paid related to your original application. Your existing application will be processed based on the rules in place at the time you applied.

If you choose to create an Express Entry profile and are invited to apply, you will be required to submit a new application for permanent residence and the associated processing fees.

I sent the same things. I believe no copies are required as the educational assesment is already there. And yah I sent copies of all experience certificates as experience will be assessed by CIO.

MNAhmad,

Thanks mate some one was saying it will be rejected .
I have applied through consultant from Dubai and he never mentioned any thing.
As far as experience certif plus offer letter all are signed by my manager

I don't know why some times people share incorrect information on this forum

For those who have not received PER/NER have no acknowledgement of same till date, they can simply answer NO to same without any implication.

You have a good point, but not to discourage you or anything but application may be deemed as incomplete (CIO officer's discretion). if we refer back to the application checklist, it states "to receive points for your education, you must provide proof that you have completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program OR submit an original ECA report along with proof of the foreign educational credential(s)" which should mean copies of diploma and/or transcript of records. I would advise you reconsider what senior members have advised other members who are on the same situation to rectify the issue while you still can. best of luck on your application!
