I have visited canada last May 2013 as TR so I have a UCI no.

Is there any way to check my current application status?

i called on the same number , followed the process waited for 14 minutes and then the lady picked up . I asked her if she can provide UCI number if i tell her my name , dob , noc etc but she said that no she cant tell it . I asked her how can i verify if my application reached and she said if you sent through a registered mail then you can check from the tracking number .

Then i asked the only way is to get confirmation through CC charge and she said yes .


Its strange because on the forum i have seen people getting UCI number through phone call

I am not sure...you may have said something she did not like. Actually this service is for internal Canada calls so they may refuse on the reason you are calling abroad. The guy I spoke to was very fiendly and eager to help. I read before that it depends on the person you are talking to and the way you are talking.

I have read the thread from the very start and happy to know that October 2014 applications Completeness Check has been kicked off. Lets pray all together for a positive reply from CIC.

We have applied under NOC 4151 - Category Psychologist. Our application reached CIC London Office on 3rd October 2014. KSA kindly how much more will CIC take to let us know about status of application? We sent DD to CIC and i think DD takes more time to be credited into CIC bank account then Credit Cards

Do you mean that CIC,Sydney,NS has sent your application to LVO on the 3rd Oct. please?
I need some clarification.

In fact, we have a family attorney in London, who collected all documents from us including everything which is submitted to CIC as per its Checklist. Our attorney submitted the application on 3rd of October 2014 at London Office.

AY, did you mean you sent out the application on Oct. 30, 2014 but you actually need to count the date that your application reached to CIT ... not the date you sent out your application ... so in that case I think you shall belong to Nov. applicants group

Well then your attorney has submitted to the wrong place because now all FSW applications need to first send to Sydney NS .... it is stated on the CIC web page and I have no idea why you said your attorney has submitted your application to London office ??

FYI, I just called CIC to inquire my UCI and it's not yet in the system which either means that they have not yet opened my application (received on October 23), or in worst case scenario returned it due to capping or application being incomplete. I hopefully opt for the first scenario which means that the completeness check for October is still ongoing.

Your application would had been c-checked and UCI'ed. Once you are charged only then your data entry is done in the system. , or if someone fails Completeness-Check then also he/she is entered into the system and file is sent back, in which case they tell you ,"yes your file has been sent back due to a few reasons".

So now pray October is c-checked and deem your self to be lucky for them not having any info on you so early

cic doesn't have a london office. Did you mean CIC Nova Scotia, Canada has sent ur app to London Visa office?
