All who got FILE MOVED/transferred to NDVO 2019 please join

Such a massive organization like IMMIGRATION CANADA is finding it difficult to hire capable employees???
I don't know about other provinces but Toronto Police and Peel police are constantly recruiting officers to combat the increasing crime in the city. I don't think hiring a visa officer is harder than hiring a Police officer … So the only answer to why they don't do it could be --- they don't think its necessary for them to increase resources, they think longer processing times are okay and if people are waiting desperately that's their problem to deal with... and after all that terrible wait doesn't harm anybody else other than the victim so why bother about it.

In the end, its their choice ... I will always be thankful to them for giving me a chance to unite with my spouse. Their immigration programs are like a blessing for many of us. But what pinches me the most is Mississauga vs. NDVO. If I have submitted everything as per application instructions, then why am I treated differently from others whose files were processed at Mississauga. I know someone who got PR in last year soon before getting married (international student) and her spouse received PPR in less than 3 months time from Mississauga. It's not fair to others who have spend entire life in this country and had to suffer due to longer wait times at NDVO... they may be doing their best, but this seriously effects relationships in a big way and they should seriously look into it. Spousal sponsorship should be given priority over all other categories like many other countries do.

Absolutely you are saying truly! It is really hard to take a breath without my Hubby. It's a long NDVO time is killing us.

I submitted on 7feb and I gone receive back today expected delivery 5th March

I sponsored my Husband who is in India. My Application sent Nov 2019 and got received on Nov 8 2019.
i got got Bio-metric request on 9 Dec 2019 and done it on 10 Dec 2019.
Medical request on 13 Dec 2019 done it on 16 Dec 2019.
My husband got the medical panel doctor for addition test request by the visa office so he did on 5 jan 2020
and then i got the letter from Delhi office on 7 Jan 2020 the same addition test for medical. we already did so they got the result on 8 jan 2020. and medical got passed on 9 Jan 2020.

from then its silent no further message come from visa office.
When i checked GIC KEY login its show file processing 32%. its show the notes that they are checking eligibility, background check and final decision have to made.

Anyone know how long it gonna take to get passport request

please let me know if anybody have going through same timeline.

I think you are in good hands so far. Because if they have to transfer your file to Delhi, they would have already done it.
In case if they send it to New Delhi, it’s gonna be like 4-6 months on average to process all the file. So hope for good and pray that your files stays in Mississauga.

get busy in life for few months and then think about file bit later. Long way to go.

I‘m a Jan 10, 2020 applicant, my file recently has been moved to NDVO on Feb 18th, since then no updates on ECAS or CIC.

Does NDVO prioritize cases based on the file transferred date (feb-18) or application received date (Jan-10) ?

Application received date for sure … although some files from 2-3 consecutive months can be mixed up but majority will be processed in their group
You have a long way to go … they just started July 2019 files and few people from april/may/june are still waiting
