Hi, Is there anyone in this group who had received the COPR and Spouse Visa in 2020 and couldn't travel to Canada due to Covid 19. I know the IRCC website states that you need to send the webform if you are not able to travel or the visa has already expired. I want to know what happens once the webform is filled. Do we need to resubmit the passports for a new visa and revised COPR. It would be great if someone can share their personal experience who has already done this. Thank you in advance.
Yeah M the one who received COPR during lockdown n it has been expired by 4thMay2020 ..nd we raised webform infrmng them about travel ban in india due to which m unable to travel ..

Why additional documents?
They were not satisfied with the authenticity of the marriage. So I had to give them more proof (photographs of ceremonies) to validate. Even though I had sent them the marriage certificate (from the family court) and other strong proof and evidences of courtship during the first draft of application, but they still were in doubt only god knows why !!!

Hi Raina. Thank you for your response. Was there any response from them and if you dont mind sharing as to what are the next steps that you need to do.
Have you been asked to sumbit the passport again. My wife is expected to travel soon as the visa expiry is near and she cant because of the air travel not being open.
