better check first that how much applications under your intended NOC they've received as on today...........if the number is less than 450, then u should send ur application now - although cap is for 500 but consider mailing delays etc that's why i'm say 450.
Otherwise wait till Jul 01, 2012.
Hi farhan, noc under which i m applying is reached at 254 till now but i m worried about general cap which is 9881 in total so balance is only 119 so please advise me whether i should try now or wait till july 2012, problem is we dont know which are the new rules comin that time and i dont know whether i will be eligable to apply at that time......

Hi
Please I work in a regulated profession and has already started assesment with the regulatory body, do I still need to apply to icascanada for credential assessment? I also intend to apply as soon as the CAP reset because my application was returned last year due to cap reached.

Dear senior members,

I have a friend who is going to re-apply under the FSW NOC stream. He applied in MI-3 under the NOC 1122 – Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management. Unfortunately, quota was filled very fast and his application was returned. He wants to reapply under the same NOC in July 2012, if the NOC list doesn't change. Other than this he has never applied for Canadian visa of any kind.

My question to you is, in Schedule A Background/Declaration form, there is a question number 6, which requires a Yes/No answer.

6(d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa to Canada or any other country?

6(e) been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country?

What should he write for these questions? I mean he did apply before but the application was not processed as quota was filled, so is it still considered as a refusal, and should he check the answer to both questions as 'Yes'?

Further more, if he choses 'Yes', then how should he explain it in the details section of question number 6.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards

No, I don't think so, if ur occupation is regulated, it is the regulatory body that will determine credentials assessment and its validity. By the way what's ur occupation??

Answers to both the questions should be "NO".

Thank you Farhan bhai.. :)

My NOC is 3012 now, formerly 3152. I hope they will revise the occupations in demand to include ours else it means registered nurses are out!

Hi Senior Members,

Please provide clarity on the below mentioen ddoubts:

1. If the name change after marriage (addition of a new surname) as per marriage certificate has not be done in the passport yet is that a problem for PR application as I would be submitting both marriage certificate and passport copies?
2.If we are submitting graduate and post graduate transcripts and mark sheets for class 10 and class 12 exams, are they sufficient or even transcripts are necessary for school(as in 10 to 12)?

Please provide answers to the above at the earliest
