Following documents were requested. These are the ones requested from most of the applicants.

IMM 0008 Application: A completed Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).

> Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. You must declare your personal history and addresses from the age of 18 (not only the past 10 years). Do not leave any gaps.

> Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures.

> Police Certificate: provide an original police clearance certificate
And, of course medicals. They send a form for medicals with a unique reference number. Nowadays it is not possible to go for medicals without that form. Doctor asks for it.

No. Evidence documents are for proving the eligibility. Winning of the appeal means that issue has already been settled. They request documents and then proceed straight to background checks after they resume processing of the application after appeal is allowed.

Was you file processed in Ottawa or outside visa office? I am currently in background check. It went from background check in progress to background check being processed. Not sure if that made a difference that file is moving along. lol

Hong Kong. HKVO is one of the more efficient visa offices. It takes about 5 months to issue visa after appeal is allowed in writing.

Congratulations ! I won my appeal on Sept 06. And our file also sent to HK. But we are still under background checking.

Thanks. No, they didn't ask for biometerics. I think only those who applied after a certain date have to give biometerics.

You need to wait for cic to receive your file back abd reopen your file. Gckey is what we use
