My confusion is I was rejected spouse sponsorship in March 2016, my sponsor filed appeal (that's why I am here), and we won the appeal in Jan. 2017. Our case went back to Hongkong cic office. Does it count that I "have been refused permanent resident visa? or it should be considered I have not been refused PR because we won the appeal?
If your wife tick (yes) for this question, except her visitor visa refusal, did she explain about her PR rejection as well?

Hi I was reading your post and yes you hv to tick yes for this option. As my husband was rejected for student visa and then for the PR. And we win the appeal and we tick yes to this option and we mentioned both rejection like he was refused for the student visa in d past on this date and then second line was he was rejected for his permanent residence application in the past on this date. You hv to say yes bcos you got rejection twice. No harm sAying yes bcos u hv to tell the truth but if u say no that ll be lie to them and it could delay the processing of your application. Hi I m not sure about other provinces but in Toronto it takes 18 -20 months for full hearing after you get blue book. If u got selected for ADR then it's only 4-6 months after the blue book. In Vancouver it takes less time than Toronto. In Vancouver u get full hearing date-only in 12-14 months.

now I wait for blue book then lets see and also my lawyer submit the appeal I don't know where he submit the appeal papers INSHALLAH I hope win the appeal immigration just test our feeling and playing to our self .

Wondering if someone can tell me the length of appeal process in Calgary Alberta. I would appreciate your response. Thank you

Hi I m not sure about other provinces but in Toronto it takes 18 -20 months for full hearing after you get blue book. If u got selected for ADR then it's only 4-6 months after the blue book. In Vancouver it takes less time than Toronto. In Vancouver u get full hearing date-only in 12-14 months.

If you lose your appeal, you can go to Federal Court.

Hi it's really frustrating ...... like seriously they supposed to ask you for the police clearance with other documents as well... anyway after you submit these documents I think it will take another one & half month for the PPR. Do it as soon as possible. I am also waiting for the stamped passport for my husband to get it back. Almost two weeks now we send it to New Delhi. Anyway gudluck.

Just to give you an idea because I also had my Full Hearing in Calgary, I got my refusal letter May 2015, my sponsor sent the appeal form June 2015, we received blue book 5 months later. We had our ADR on May 2016 but was unsuccessful, we had our Full Hearing December 7, 2016, decision was given right after the hearing. Hearing took about 3 hours for my sponsor, 30 minutes for me. Hope this helps.

Got full hearing 9th of this month and minister counsel said they will mail us their decision but still nothing yet from them. Just worried. Please anyone who had same experience in their hearing in Toronto? How long before you got the mail for decision? Our full hearing was 9th of march this year in Toronto and up until now we have not received any decision. Please does it take so long? Please your response will be really helpful. Thank you
