Thank you Maddants, my husband and I are extremely happy for the news. He fled to Vancouver from China on Sunday, had the full hearing on Monday--14th, Dec, on the morning we knew we won, he fled back to China to me on Tuesday, its stressful, but we are so excited when we knew we won. now we are waiting for the letter to arrive in my husband's canada address, his family can help check for us. someone told me it might take only 5 days for the letter to arrive. our hearing was held in Vancouver, my husband's address is in Victoria. what step are you at now ? re-doing your medical ? Hey Annie.... we are just waiting to hear from Ottawa for them to request medical, police record and update form...we have not heard anything as yet but I went ahead and did my medical and police record already...I heard that cic will send a letter for the doctor to fill out when you go do the medical so if I get that letter I will just let the doctor fill it out for me and send in everything to them..

For our case, everything came by post mail in yellow CIC envelope. As soon as we got the ADR decision letter I sent a copy to CPC-ottawa just to make sure they pull our file back to processing (cuz some ppl didnt hear back for 6+ months after winning). And they sent new medical instruction within a month which was very quick.

We were asked to send new medical, updated pcc and application forms, and copy of current passport. I thought next step was ppr but no they just sent the PR visa and instruction to land. I searched here and apparently this is totally normal.

Hope everyone can share good news in the new year!

I'm soo scared already 3yrs waiting don't know how long do we need to wait, didn't get any date yet. Should I contact with local MP ? Any suggest from any one plz.

Hey K2014, how are you doing...The best thing you can do is call IAD office in montreal and ask for your case worker number. they should give it to you. Once you get it call the case worker and ask them about your case to see id the can give you an idea on how long you still have to wait to get an ADR of FULL hearing date...I hope this help you out.......Maddants

yes Taj p ezez is from the states that why they he just got copr letter and not visa stamp in the pp.... plus they finish his landing quicker than a lot of ppl that waiting for there visa after an appeal hearing

Congrats on your successful completion of this tedious immigration process, I had a successful appeal and I got my decision letter 2 days after the hearing. I read from you that you sent a copy of your appeal decision to Ottawa, I think that was a smart moves and I would like to send mine as well. I will appreciate if you can tell me what address and who to address the mail to in Ottawa. Thx.

Hey K2014.... One thing I read on this appeal thread is don't rely on your lawyer to get the simple things done for you... Call IAD office and you talk to who ever answer your call and ask them to give you your case worker number to you and once you get it then you can call your case worker and talk to them about your appeal case.

Yes it can take 5-8 months to get there visa after an appeal.....
