Hello All,

I had a terrible experience in ADR..person was not familiar with case..wrapped up things in 25 min.
I am looking for reference on a lawyer who can handle full hearing..thanks in advance..In Alberta,

Can I ask if your case was heard in Edmonton or Calgary? I also had a horrible experience with my ADR and it was in Edmonton.

Can I ask if your case was heard in Edmonton or Calgary? I also had a horrible experience with my ADR and it was in Edmonton. I don’t think it would have mattered what I said cause they had their minds made up before the meeting even started. So I don’t even understand why they even offered a ADR. All it did was waste more of my time and cause for a longer wait for the next immigration interrogation. Also the one guy had his face in my blue book the whole time and didn’t ask one question.

Won (full hearing)appeal -24 jan 2019,documents request -6 jun 2019,pre arival- 23 aug 2019,passport request-26 aug 2019,passport submitted 27 august 2019 to chandhigarh vfs,passport received 30 august 2019,vfs staff is so helpful.hardly took 5 minutes for submission and 5 minutes for collection..they are so quick..

I don't know whether you have a lawyer or not, but do check Canlii.org .to see arguments made by lawyers.
most of it is centered on .
a. the beginning of the relationship

b. development of the relationship;

c. amount of time spent together;

d. conduct at time of wedding;

e. conduct after the wedding;

f. level of continuing contact and communication; and

g. provision of financial support

I am not an expert..but just thought should share..hope more experienced members with hearing experience can add thoughts.
