Congratulations.
I just called IAD and they said my file is not with them anymore they already transfer the file to Ottawa office. Any idea the people who are dealing with Ottawa how long they take to process the file.

Thanx sahil. Can u tell me after how many days u received the required docs and who they r gonna email sponsor or applicant. Plz reply. I ll appericiate.

Our hearing was on 15 August.
We got the court letter on 20 September. We got an email on 27th September to redo the medical. That email was sent to our representative which we were hired when we submitted our application back in 2013.
(If you didn't hire any representative then the sponsor will get the email)

After that email my spouse in Canada got an email to update my email with them as they are not having my "applicant's" email id.

Then I updated my email with them.

Then on 31 October I got the email to submit my updated forms and The Police Clearance Certificate.

in ADR i withdraw my appeal i decide to i will resumit my APPLICATION to singapure if anybody know about any link related sponsurship application resubmit anything please let me know
thank u

Hi all finally some good news..14 months after winning the appeal got ppr email this morning. and i just called the immigration information line 2 days ago and they told me that background checks are still being done and then application will be transferred to Paris. I am just overwhelmed. I have not been active on here the past month or two because i was just getting too depressed and thinking my husband will never get to come or that they will make us wait much longer for some unknown reason. Well i just wish all of you here that you will get your ppr soon.

It has been just such an ordeal and a very eye opening experience about how things really are.

The following link offers some guidelines on whether to appeal a refusal, or to re-apply:

http://canadaimmigrationlawyers.ca/sponsorships/what-options-do-you-have-when-your-overseas-spousal-sponsorship-has-been-refused/

Since it sounds like you've already withdrawn your appeal, you need to make sure that if you do re-apply, that you do not contradict anything that you said in your previous application or interview, as they still have those on file. Or be able to explain any discrepancies. Also, your new application should have some substantial new information, or they probably won't even look at it, as it has already been assessed, and refused.

Did you at least wait until you got your bluebook before you withdrew your application? It has some valuable information on your file, a lot more than what you see in the refusal letter. Additionally, it'll have the official transcripts of the interview. It'll give you some insight as to what you need to address when you apply again.

Edited to add ... okay, you said you withdrew at ADR, so you have your bluebook, plus whatever additional insight you were able to get from the ADR session. All that is valuable information into what was on their minds when they refused you, and must be addressed in the new application. Is there any reason that you are not continuing with your appeal? You've gone this far, why not see it to the end? In an appeal hearing, you have a full day to make your arguments, and to present additional evidence.
