Hello SV670 and other Senior Members .

We've (Lawyer) sent Appeal Notification Letter to IAD Vancouver on 14-July-2016 , we've not heard anything back. My Question is when we will get Acknowledgement letter from IAD, Will that letter also Guide us as what IAD needs from us ? Who will Decide that if we will go to ADR or full Hearing ? Do we have to Request ADR , if Yes thn when we will have to do that ?

after my appeal i received bluebook and now its been soo many months but nothing else
it will be ok if i call them even if i have received the blue book ?

Hi Emaan3,

You should've got some response by now, if not, call them and check the status. There is no point to send anything, till the time you get your file copy from the office you applied for. MPs won't be of any help as of now. Call IRB (immigration refugee board) on 1-866-790-0581, and their fax no# is 416-954-1165/416-973-9307.

I visit IRB office just half hour ago, and I was told that a case manager is the best person to speak with, they even gave me his contact details and asked me call up, instead of walking to their office.

its good to have alott of pages but u can print some pages per month instead of printing the whole month.

i have received the bluebook monthsss ago but after that nothing...is it good to send them proof now ?

You have received the acknowledgement letter from appeal board. Next.is the blue book which is basically a copy of your file and in it notes from officers explaining their reasons for refusal. Some send in proof after that. Some request an adr. It depends what part of Canada you are as to how long you have to wait. Take some time to read back about a year. I did. Or ask on here. There's a backlog of appeals of about 6300. And any given yr 6300 new ones. So everybody waits.

You've only waited about 6 mos since bb. You can try and request an adr. You can try and send them proof as your asking. Do you have any consultant or lawyer? Ppl wait half a yr or more for adr. Ppl wait up to 3 yrs for appeal date. There's thousands waiting before your file. What part of Canada are you from? When your asking these questions. Ppl can only guess. Or read back on your posts. Put your dates in your profile. Hopefully you get your answers.

Emaan when u got bluebook after refusing application? ??i got blue book in 120 days....also they said me submitting prooofs if i want adr otherws they will give me full hearing so i submitted prooofs.

yes when i got refused i had 1 month
so i appealed and after 120 days i got my bluebook but with bluebook there was no letter or something for new proof etc..

Yes, you can send them as many proofs, please note that, you would sending 3 copies, indexed and all pages numbered.

Why 3? I thought it was 2. 1 copy for the minister counsel, 1 copy for the IAD officer and 1 copy is for myself.

Do I have to send in my copy to the IAD as well?

Most likely your case is selected for ADR but you have to send in the proofs asap. If I were you I will just send in the proofs now, since ADR wait time is much faster than a full hearing.

By the way may I ask which appeal office you are in?
