guys anyone tell me process of filing appeal, as my wife app is refused ( they said our marriage was not genuine..)

When you received your refusal letter there should be an appeal form included, if not you can find it online. Fill it out and drop it off at the Appeal Division office. They will then send you a letter saying they received your notice to appeal. You will also received everything on your file (blue book) approximately 120 days after you file your appeal. That book will give you every detail about your file and all the reasons why your file was refused. After that you wait for the AD office to give you an appeal date.

Soon after I received the ready for visa email, my ecas changed to decision made.
We sent you correspondence on May 19, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Its a bit confusing. It sounds like you already got the visa issued, unless they are still missing something and wants you to send it in to them.

I have noticed when my ECAS says correspondence sent, its always an email. Make sure you check your email and junk mail folder.

Did you get a passport request yet. If not, it might be instructions as to where to send your passport for your visa.

You have to prove them wrong. You do this by continuing to visit your spouse, gather evidence and be ready for adr or full appeal. My husband was told the same thing. However he answered all questions correctly. So the VO made him sound like a lier. She make us pay 1 to 2 yrs plus waiting for our appeal.

@client2014 - this is typical excuse from VO they said same thing about my husband and he answered EVERY question they asked him about me correctly. They just use it to say you are not genuine. They don't even write down the the answers my husband gives but they write he doesn't know enough about me.

Mary L is right, for all of us appealing it is up to us to prove them wrong in the appeal and show how we know everything about our spouses. Don't get down client, you are not worse off just in the same boat as the rest of us. Just make sure you file your appeal immediately you only have 30 days to do it

Just wondering about printing out skype logs, is it ok to do like straight text logs (like wordpad) or screenshots for the appeal?

What were your red flags and how did you address them? Did you give a good reason as to why your spouse didn't visit you?

Hi everyone,

Hope you guys are fine.

My timeline is as under:
Applied in aug 2013
Refused in april 2014
Appealed in april 2014
Won appeal in april 2016
Upfront medical in may 2016
Updated forms, police certificates and right of permanent residence fee submited a week ago.

What will be the next & how long will it take to complete?
