Thank you milenka. I hope so. I have prepared as much as I can as I am doing it on my own. I sent about 120 pages of evidences, letters, text records, calls, pictures, etc (we were refused based on the VO thinking we are in a non genuine relationship... been in this relationship for 4 years!!)

all you need to go thru your VO notes and be sure you have the answer to all his or her concerns and all what you say must be the same as you have in application forms everything will be okay

its been over a year now since we filed an appeal and we are yet to receive any confirmation whether its going to be ADR or full hearing. am noticing so many people who has went through their ADR meetings. My head is so f***** up with all that immigration BS just dnt feel like i can take it anymore this has literally drained me the F****** out. if only with all the training that CIC provides to their VO officers why don't they get a test on what we have to go through when denied or even going through long waiting periods.

If it's over a year now, you will probably be having a full hearing. If it's in Toronto, it'll be at least a 2 year wait. We hit two years waiting two weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.

its been a very long time since i have been here

my refusal letter had come aug 2012 and now the hearing is coming jan 14, 2015. please pray that the the appeal is going to be successful. I have hired a lawyer and he is working on it.

But I have a question if Inshallah case is won how long does my husband get his further step and what would be the step. Because my lawyer was saying that after its won it can take up to a year but with others experience they say it might take weeks or months, not year or years.

Second if God forbid I lose the case what would be my steps.

Most cases are finished within a year....some take longer......20 months for us after winning appeal. Make sure you understand reasons for refusal. Think positive.....most appeals are successful ! Best wishes
