What if they sent it via snail mail and it got lost by postal service??? This happened with my LOA. His case got IN-Process in June 2012 and they were sending MR by post till Nov 2012 as far as I remember. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes sabif you are right. CHC started email correspondence in November to send Medical request as well.

I misunderstood his timeline & thought that hez a 2011 applicant thats why his processing is far slower or might be he changed his timeline.

Yes there are chances that he didn't get/lost MR that was sent via snail mail but still in that case CHC do ask(via email) for medical results if they didn't receive anything even after given duration of 60 days.

Yes its better to enquire about his application status by sending a CSE. I always suggest that we should send a CSE after every 1-2 months just to make sure that CHC is working on file or not.

Great, thanks. I was just thinking that I'll courier all docs other than Medical in the next 2 weeks so these are not held up due to my passport issue and will get done with medical later within 60 day time once I get my passports.

I applied to CIO, Nova Scotia and I am AINP applicant even still its taking too long. Is there anyway I can ask them whats going on may be something is wrong and how to update CIC about change of address.

You can use the same web form for CSE to update CHC about your change in address.

By the grace of Allah and friends' prayers, our passport got delivered, thanks to one of my acquaintance who helped me out (and Rehman Malik offcourse ;D). I was planning to get done with medicals tomorrow but got slight cough due to changing weather so planning to defer it by one week, just in case.

I had question, I already sent lengthy CSE regarding this issue to London Visa Office, should I sent another CSE/email asking them to ignore last one? I ask because I dont want them to extend my Medical Exam deadline now which might delay my case.

Yes you should inform CHC,London as soon as possible that you got your passports & you'll do medical examination within given time period.

@ Ume Rayan Thank you for ur help. I have updated my saturation through CSE and updated my status that I have changed my address and have given up my job and asked whats going on with my case. Now as I am in Australia and my visa office is London.

Schedule A Background/ Declaration that i sent to CIC for my wife I found a mistake in date now what to do update CIC or wait for CIC to ask?
How will my passport be stamped in Australia or Pakistan?
My wife is expecting so even if CIC London wakes up and ask me for Medicals I will have to wait for birth then update birth status and will be able to move ahead. On average how long it will take? (no one can tell how long but from ur exp)
Should I update CIC about baby now or wait for birth?

Hello All,

I have to send proof of funds to CHC London soon and wanted to confirm if this is the correct reference for required funds: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-settlement-funds.html

Also, in addition to bank statements, I will send a company letter to show my provident fund savings held with my employer and also Mutual Fund statement. Do both of these count as valid proof of funds?

Thats great. You should wait for their response now.

No need to update them about some mistake in form. You can send that form once again when CHC, London will ask for other documents & you can clarify the reason in a covering letter that why are you sending it once again.

Your passport will be stamped in Pakistan. Most of applicant plan a visit to Pakistan at the time of Passport submission or authorize a friend who is going back to Pak & he/she deliver it to their home address/family member who'll submit/collect back your passports. Afterwards same friend takes that stamped passport back to applicant. Don't know any other way so its better to consult another applicant who is living abroad.

I think right now you should wait for CHC response & after their reply you can request them to delay your medical examination till the arrival of new born. They'll suggest you themselves if they can do this or not.

Recent applicant are getting MR after 1-2 of AOR(CIO). I got Additional doc request first & afterwards I got MR almost after 4 months of submission of requested documents.

Your timeline is a bit complicated as you'll send newborns documents first & then you'll get MR after submission of updated documents & processing fees of new born. So I can't suggest you any timeline at this stage.

I hope it helps. Kindly do consult some one else for more accurate suggestions as I'm not at all an expert. I'm just suggesting you with my personal experience & observations.

You'll get MR / RPRF / Add doc request altogether within 1-2 months. If you don't get anything even after 2 months then you should send them a CSE & inquire them about status of your file.

Hi Fahad

Yup above mentioned settlement funds at CIC website are 101% correct.

You don't have all of your required funds in your account? Yes you can send documents regarding your provident fund too if you just want to support/enhance your bank statement but if your bank statement is insufficient/below than the required fund then I'm afraid that CHC don't accept ANYTHING else other then a recent bank statement.

Most probably, CHC will ask you again to submit a new bank statement if your previous statement was not sufficient. It happened in case of many FSW applicants.

Hello all,

Please advise me on the following situation.

I got AOR ( of ontario PNP) on 5-mar-13, and they have asked me to report any change in employer/address/etc... to the visa office as my case will be forwarded to the visa office.

At the same time I have work visa and scheduled to leave pakistan for toronto in the end of april.

can some body please guide me about the remaining time period and procedures of immigration and what should exactly I do.

should i wait in pakistan for the remaining process ? or
I can go to toronto on work permit and my remaining immigration process can be completed there ?
