How long did it take for people's return trackers to be activated after CIC received your passport and photographs? Did everybody's My CIC Application change to "approved" under Final Decision before they got their confirmation letter?

mine has changed to approved and I havent got my copr back yet - tracker is still inactive.

Im on the same situation buddy sent my passport last July 29 and still my return tracker is not yet activated and myCIC account is still open,patiently waiting ???

When did your docs arrive in Ottawa Lotus? And when did it change to Approved? Sounds like it depend on the CIC officer, like everything else

docs arrived on the 5th August. Status changed to Approved/MyCIC application set to Closed on 7th or 8th

Application/profile status Closed
Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
A final decision has been reached

Got my PPR today and plan to send out my PP tomorrow.
I am thinking about moving out of my apartment by the end of this month.
So I want to know what will be the longest from PP sent to PP received?

I've been reading this thread today and it looks like the average is around 8-10 days, however there are some exceptions which are much longer. I think you can address your prepaid envelope to a different address so it might be worth sending it to your work address or a friend's house if you don't want to take a risk

My PR application got approved on August 6, 2015. While waiting for PPR, I'm wondering something...

I'm not in Canada right now [vacation in France till September 24].
I know I will have 30 days to send passport copies [visa-exempt applicants] and photos. Basically, won't be back in Canada before the 30-day deadline.

Both our mailing addresses are in Canada. Should I ask for a change of visa office [from Ottawa to Paris, France] ? Or should I leave Ottawa process and send both mine + my spouse's CoPR to my mailing address in Canada, and then have friends forward the CoPR back to France ?

Asking this because, we both are from visa-exempt country and was wondering if only CoPR and passports are required to enter Canada [or does the CoPR still requires some sort of activation within Canada or at a port of entry, don't know if it can or cannot be used as is, along with both our passports to re-enter Canada] ?

Also, Ottawa requires applicants within Canada to use Canada Post pre-paid enveloppes only [impossible from France, they don't sell these].

What's the best option ? What would you do ? Change of visa office [which will delay issuing both our CoPRs] or keeping Ottawa [faster, but requires finding a way to use Canada Post and having the CoPRs forwarded back to France] ?

Does CIC allow the use of DHL as an international courier rather than Canada Post ?

I have just talked to CIC office - my application is approved, I am waiting for papers to be done and sent to me.

I received PPR on May 15, ECAS has been showing "Decision Made" for at least a month, MyCIC is still at "A final decision has not been made". I hope they will send it shortly

Just got off phone from a CIC call center agent and she was very nice,I asked her about myCIC account coz until now its still open,I sent my passport last July 29 and I checked it today on my return tracker it says in transit.So the agent explain to me nicely that my PR application is already approved but myCIC account will only be closed when my Family in the Philippines got their passport and COPR back.Thank you all for the big help I will keep you guys posted with my landing experience.God bless us all!! ;D
