hi all...happy new year

need your suggestion.

i got PR in 2009 & went to canada to receive my SIN & PR card. later got back to my home country in asia.

now my questions are:

1. Again im going to Canada in mid Jan, this time for good. Will there be any problem in entering at airport with immigration officer?

2. Last time I was Toronto. This time I want to go to Alberta – will that be of any problem?

3. Besides, where do I have to do the immigration? In Toronto or in Alberta?

4. I got new passport which also have the old passport number that is mentioned in PR card. Besides, I also have my old passport but without validity. Will this cause any problem?

please suggest.

thanks n regards..

Hi

Your PR is valid for 5 years and you can get in, but you will most probably be questioned about your whereabouts during the period that you have spent outside. You are already an immigrant since you landed and you can visit any part of Canada. Since you already have a valid PR card your passports wil not be seen in Canada but it is better to keep oth the passports ( the expired one as well).
